Iggy interviewed & has said he is not really interested in hanging around for a rebuild, he wants to win a Cup but 3 years in row of no playoffs here & it is obvious that it wont be here in Calgary. He is already saying the things that publicly pave the way to a trade ala Ray Bourque. Thing is, I think Kipper will be traded before Iggy & you didnt even have him on the list here EK. Unless the offer is good, Iggy will probably be moved at the trade deadline where not worrying about the 7.0mill cap hit gives Feaster more options.

If they would trade Nash straight up for the pick i would do it. Otherwise not, im quite high on Galchenyuk. Maybe they take Lombardi and COnnolly? Hah no they will probably want Schenn or Gardiner or Reimer. And then we MUST say no. Nash would be good but i dont see him playing center. So we would most likely have to trade Kadri and Franson or Liles/macarthur for a center like J.Staal. We would be amazing! but we would have to trade them because of all the salary! I would honestly just prefer us trying to sign suter or going for another solid d man like Marc Staal. And just drafting a center. I like a team with a stacked defense. I think one more real solid d man would be good. I dont consider Liles solid at all. I like Franson too but i dont think hes the right guy to mentor guys like Schenn Gardiner Gunner and even Phaneuf. I say we trade Franson and Liles for picks/big forwards and go for a good solid d man like Suter via FA or Staal via trade and ddraft a # 1 center.

There it is again...the unearned love for Jordan Staal...just scored an absolutely incredible career high of 50 POINTS!!!!! It's a wonder how he managed to put together such an epic season.

Between last year and this year he's had more than enough opportunity to get the ice time and chance to put up numbers and he doesn't get it done.

Change his name to "Jordan Smith" and people wouldn't even give him a second look.

Good two-way forward, nothing more.
