He'll go back to the Kings after he played 1 season with them and put up some good numbers for a defenseman.

that's a big part of it. More out of respect for the Cup playoffs.

The problem, or I should say reality, with Jagr is he's completely unpredictable. I'm sure he's loving Phillie and wants to stay, but the wind will blow and he'll switch to the Isles or something no-one could have ever predicted.

Brilliant player. Very odd bird.

As long as those few players are Rinne, Suter, Weber, Stamkos, and Malkin.

- Barx

I wouldn't go that far, I'd say they're Parise, Patrice Bergeron, Wideman/Mike Green and Vokoun away from being a legit contender.

Wonder if he had a bet with a buddy. Something like:

"Bet you that I would be loved wherever I played"

"How about if you played on one of your old teams biggest rivals?"

"Sure. You name it"

"Philly"

Because Penner is a UFA next year that's 4m extra next year from I believe the kings next year are gunna have 9m cap space + the 4 mill from penner out, that would be enough to resign Voynov, Hickey, some Rookies, and stoll, then you'll have enough for 2 Good wingers, not GREAT, good

fixed...guess I tipped my hand a bit there....

So you're implying that your sources have told you Babcock is coming to coach the Leafs next season huh? Makes a lot of sense that Burke would fire Wilson with only 18 games left, get his good buddy Carlyle to coach and then let Carlyle go after only 18 games.
Ek, just admit you made a typo. Just like when you said Sakic wore #88 to spite Lindros.

However, history tells us that teams who “consider” moving franchise players (see Rick Nash) do indeed move them.

Ok so Rick Nash doesn't get traded at the deadline and now thats historical proof that franchise players do indeed get moved? Where's the logic here ek?

Well their d core doesn't need much, but it could use a dman who likes to carry the puck.

You really think him coaching there would work the 2nd time around? I mean, he speaks French, so the good ol' Province of Quebec will be happy because we all know that comes first
