Is that Myers' fault or Lindy's? Because the same could be said for a lot of players that come through here. Look how Foligno started, which I think is similar to how Stafford started when he first came up. I hope with a full year that doesn't happen to Foligno too.

foligno also shows a ton of heart on every shift, something I have only seen from gerbe in the last 5 years

before this season started I said foligno was by far our most improved prospect in the last year and it showed

I think we can expect a similar leap from sundher in the next year

The heart and courage shows a special player and you can't coach that IMO

Stafford played a lot with Vanek and Roy in 2007. There were a ton of injuries in February and March of that year.

Yet at least one of them predicted at the beginning of the season for them to go to win the division and go to the conference finals, but they are always negative. Again, if they always wrote postive stuff they'd be accused of being homers like Garth.

It will be interesting to see what he does next year, his first full season in a Sabres uniform. The plusses is that he does have upside, and that players that come out of that Gary Roberts workout factory tend to play really well. The minus is that he's in a different system, and won't be playing on the 3rd line on a team that's very deep offensively, and thus will be drawing the bigger matchups. I'm excited to find out, that's for sure. The only thing that worries me about Hodgson is how much of a meddler his father seems to be. If the kid is going to be any good, he needs to tell him to shut up and let him play. The incident with Vancouver and his back injury is a tad disturbing.

It's more than that they are exclusively negative, I have several beefs with those 2.

1) They act like they are doing us a favor(favour). As if they have a significantly better job offer waiting that has much better pay and stature, but they've declined it to do us lowly Buffalo folk a favor and remind us our sports teams suck.

2) They are always hinds 20/20 writing idiots. Every notice Sully's signature "negative" article is written the day after the team can no longer make any attempt at a comeback?

Hey Guys $20 Canadian Dollars that the Leafs beat the Sabres on the golf course this week just because the Leafs have 7 years more experience then the Sabres do.

So, call me a stupid Canadian but I think that Ryan Smyth is the exact type of player that Buffalo needs on their roster. Even crazier yet I think he's worth $3.5M per for 2 years.

This team would have looked a lot differently if they had a Arnott/Langenbrunner/Smyth type of player in their lineup.
