dont feel bad, you guys helped them in more ways than one, if they have big coaching changes then you can say you helped them because many sabres fans want ruff gone, and maybe them missing the playoffs will be a kick in the butt for them......besides they did it to themselves, decided to suck for a good portion of the year, and then couldnt beat a team that was "supposedly" looking for the best draft pick, and their AHL goalie in, its on the sabres to win not to lose

Remember without shootouts in playoffs the panthers have a possible chance I'm not saying they will win or not but you know if the devils were to think it was a walk in the park they would most likely blow it. don't underestimate the cats.

It really has nothing to do with this, but listening to that particular Devils fan over the course of the year. He knows full well he's going to hear it from a bunch of us if his team loses to the "lowly Panthers". He's fully expecting it too should they lose, he'll have a new alt in no time.

No disrespect to the Panthers, I hope they pull it off.

you must be following the ny post, which has been wrong on so many occasions that its a miracle they are still in business, not only have they been proved wrong on numerous occasions, but they cant even stick with their own stories, never seen them change so drastically from day to day

i wonder how they felt when they said that the devils HAD to trade parise because the league was forcing them too, the devils have an internal cap that the league has said they cant exceed and cant add any salary- only to have the devils add salary for the 3rd time by trading for ponikarovski about an hour after that report came out, i really could go on but as you can tell their reporting pretty much shows for itself

oh and every report such as the wall street journal is basing everything straight from the post....
