I'm paraphrasing:
The shootout has become an integral part of the game..blah blah blah...When they are out doing shows or remotes the entire place usually stops to watch the shootouts. It would add excitement..yadda yadda yadda.
We all stop to see violent car accidents and their aftermath as well, doesn't make it a good thing ya dumkoffs. - MBFlyerfan
Idiots. I'm sure NBC would like it because of the scheduling problems dealing with double overtime or longer games...don't want to P*ss off all those people in their goofy hats waiting for the Kentucky derby pre race show.
I met a girl on vacation a couple years ago who lived in Fredriksberg (sp?). When I told her we have to plug our cars in during the winter she was astounded. She couldn't believe they didn't get tangled when we were driving. - canadianpenfan

Can you really call any of those lines 2-4? It more like we have the G line as a number 1 line and roll out the other 3 based on match-ups. - RooNosHockey
i hear you, and was thinking about this when i was asking the question.
That is not Funny. I have done that before... I have never been in a crash in my 16 years of driving... but that was the 1 dumb thing I have done... Luckily I noticed like 1 mile down the road....
But to be honest... It wasnt entirely my fault... I had a friend... that I always had a crush on... She looks like a cuter version of Avril Laviegne... And the night before she has a kegger... and it was snowing.. and she asked me if I wanted to come over and get snowed in with her and her keg... I had to get there before the roads were impassible... - RooNosHockey
Sorry, that doesn't make it any less funny. But your reasoning is rock solid.
Me either. I'd feel a lot better if JVR and Briere were healthy.. I think the theory in bringing Jagr Talbot etc in was to counterbalance the inexperience. I expect the vets will lead the way and I'm hoping this will be the case. One good aspect is that guys like Roo although young recently made a trip to the finals so they have experience. THis is going to be a fascinating series. I hope we win, but my gut keeps thinking back to the 08 and 09 series where it seemed we got behind in a lot of games and we just couldn't compete. - Hextall271
An honest assessment eh? You know what happened to Lou Ferrigno on The Apprentice last night when he gave his honest opinion.
