So the Habs finished last in the east eh? I admit it wasn't the biggest stretch in the world, but this old, blind squirrel called it back in October.

Apparently their fans have had time to migrate as far south as Richmond...saw this today at lunch.

I met a girl on vacation a couple years ago who lived in Fredriksberg (sp?). When I told her we have to plug our cars in during the winter she was astounded. She couldn't believe they didn't get tangled when we were driving.

I don't see it that way at all. Between the season series and the Flyers play in Pittsburgh I don't know how these "experts" come to the conclusion they do. I honestly see this series as a toss up and gthink it's unfortunate one of these teams will be out early.

With all that said, I really hope it's yours.

Personally, I think this series could be a toss up if Bryz from March is manning the pipes. This team is a lot more of a "team" than for example last year's version. The fact that all these rookies are getting playoff experience after the massive changes we made last summer is fantastic and it really means to me that we can take a serious run at the cup in 1-2 years instead of 3-4.

PS: Having said all this...I hope Sid and the rest get to hit the links early. It would be an epic series win for the Flyers..

My first round upset? Ottawa over Rangers in 7. The Fonze's head will explode.

One of the guys I played old timers hockey with in the past has a Habs29 plate. It would have been so great playing on his team this season.

THis would be more funny if my mother hadn't recently forgotten to unplug her car..rip the cord out of the outlet, and drive around the city with a cord dragging behind her car until a nice policeman pulled her over to advise her of said idiocy.

I'm already on record in our thread as saying I will attempt a cartwheel if this happens. The post game news conferences would be epic.

That's the catch 22 for me. They are going to have to play tall in order to get it done. I don't like that Briere is going into the playoffs crocked up either.

Crocked up? His career is over. I expect nothing from Briere.

Me either. I'd feel a lot better if JVR and Briere were healthy.. I think the theory in bringing Jagr Talbot etc in was to counterbalance the inexperience. I expect the vets will lead the way and I'm hoping this will be the case. One good aspect is that guys like Roo although young recently made a trip to the finals so they have experience. THis is going to be a fascinating series. I hope we win, but my gut keeps thinking back to the 08 and 09 series where it seemed we got behind in a lot of games and we just couldn't compete.

That is not Funny. I have done that before... I have never been in a crash in my 16 years of driving... but that was the 1 dumb thing I have done... Luckily I noticed like 1 mile down the road....

But to be honest... It wasnt entirely my fault... I had a friend... that I always had a crush on... She looks like a cuter version of Avril Laviegne... And the night before she has a kegger... and it was snowing.. and she asked me if I wanted to come over and get snowed in with her and her keg... I had to get there before the roads were impassible...
