This really is something. From the awful way we had to start the season in Europe, then the Western Canada roadtrip all before playing our first home game. Torts kept this team together & got them all to buy in on his program. Sure there were bumps in the road, there always will be, but we came through a grind of a regular season & with a win in Game 82 we can match the all time team mark in wins & win the President's Trophy, remarkable! - B2B76
In an odd "this is hockey" kind of way, the road start may have given them the us against the world and we are family bonding thing that works so well. You guys know I've liked this team a lot all along, but even I am surprised at them being #1 in the east and possibly overall. |

So Shelley is dressing today again, right? - B2B76
Yes. Flyers are so short of forwards they've called up Scrabble (Harry Zolnierczyk(sp?)). Rumor that Giroux is sick. I suspect his wrist is still bothering him and they don't want him out there with Sir Slashalot. |

of course, with the injuries up front he would dress anyway. the pens called up a goon who attacks goalies, so it should be an interesting afternoon. |

So the Fems brought up their #1 goon, Mackenzie, from the minors for todays game. Didn't the Isles do the same thing last year and Mario whined about cleaning up the league. Hypocrits. |

Bo, I'll admit, I was not happy when you became a "regular" in here, but you grew on me. You are always fair with us & very classy, cheers to you & good luck vs the Pens today & in round 1. |

Yep, they brought up Haley & dressed Gillies. OOOhh, the nerve. The Penguins entitlement is what gets people the most. They do these same things like Torts said that they whine about other teams doing. |

I have never seen McIntyre do anything except drop the gloves, I don't even know if he knows how to skate. Oh man, that game is gonna be brutal. CAN'T WAIT! |

Just so I get this straight:
Tortorella gets fined for criticizing Pittsburgh.
Crosby criticizes Tortorella and Callahan, in response, and that is ok.
Lemieux last year rips the NHL and Islanders organization last season after their fight filled contest and the Isles get fined 100K. Meanwhile the Penguins don't get fined anywhere near that amount and Lemieux gets a pass entirely.
Oh and Orpik gets away with injuring Stepan with a dirty hit.
Am I missing something here? |

Which one is Sir Slashalot? Skid & Horseface are already competing for the title of Sir Slewfoot. |

They control their President's Trophy fate.
That is a great achievement, especially with the division being as good as it is. |

What your misssing is there is a strong HA connection with Mario and Buttman. I hope the Flyers and Pens kill each other today, I could care less about either of them especially Cindy Crosby, who has the balls to talk smack about Callahan. (frank)em. |

Yes, last week during the Pens-Flyers game, Laviolette got fined $10k while Bylsma (or was it Granato) only got fined $2500. What was the difference, they were both standing on the benches screaming at each other? |

I'm telling you this little wiener Buttman and Mario, they're in bed together. This little market driven league is convinced that Pittsburgh, PA is the center of the hockey world, everyone else is just along for the ride. |
