I love how the Pens organisation and it's fans are all so called whiners. I can understand that the Rangers are not happy with the hit BUT I can remember a knee on knee hit by Rupp a few months ago on Staal. Very similar to what happened yesterday. Staal was out for at least 3 weeks with a knee injury.
No one in the organisation said a bad word about the Rangers. After the game Staal said about Rupp: "he is a good guy, I am sure he didn' mean to do it"
Yeah the Pens and their organisation are very classless. The hypocrisy here, unreal!! - Dutch Pens Fan
rupp didn't stick his leg out. his hands were going towards Staal's shoulders. Staal did a little shimmy and could get out of the way. again, watch the video.

Rupp also apologized immediately after the game and was quoted as saying he hoped Staalsy was alright and that they are friends.
I think Orpik ducked the media, that's what you do when you deliberately injure someone

My favorite Ranger/Penguin brawl, Mike Lange on the call, a guy who really knew how to handle the mic, not like the Richardwads Pittsburgh employs today.

Get off the Rupp on Staal hit already, it was a collision to begin with, you used all your ammo already, that's how guilty your organization is, that Rupp hit was so bad you can't find the replay anywhere and by today's standard that's usually the smoking gun.
If they get past philly bring them straight to NYC and we'll give them a warm ass kicking, it's coming Pittsburgh and it ain't gonna stop!

I implore ALL penguins fans to please stay away. We don't care what you have to say or what kind of insight you have to offer. Talk about the your team in your blog and we'll talk about what we want here. Fair? - DONMURDOCH14
No. Not the policy of the site or of your blogger. Just ignore the ones that bug you and hit the "!" and a mod will stop by to remove the trolls.
Crosby really needs to shut up now. If things go well for my guys, he'll have no soapbox on which to stand in another two weeks. I can only hope. - bodiva88

Pens are untouchable, hope karma bites them right in the arse, Crosby has but a small window before his next concussion and hopefully a career ender, it's what their fans deserve - cranford93
It's not nice to wish injury upon opposing players.

I'd rather go into the playoffs on a six game winning streak. - _Zippy_
It does feel better to go into the playoffs on the warmish side. But with at least three days off after tomorrow for everyone, it may kind of lose its impetus.

and i'd rather not play the sens, they seem to give the rangers trouble for whatever reason. - blacksheep1
Isn't it odd the way matchups work. Just crazy that the Flyers have seemed to have the Pens number but can't buy a win against the Rangers. And as talented as the Pens are, I really do think the Rangers are a better TEAM. We'll see how it all goes.
