So i guess i cant express my opinion on the blog. Same reason i have not been on here in years, clowns who who think they are the only ones with an opinion that can be shared. FYI I have read almost every rangers blog and comment page for the past four years. I stopped posting because of comments like this and the endless supply of trolls.

Sorry if I expect more from this team than what I have seen since midway through the game in philly, and sorry I feel that taking their foot off the pedal for 2 1/2 games might cost them a shot at taking momentum into the first round and sorry if I feel that may make this entire spectacular season a waste if they blow it.

Calm dude you can express what you want they basically played two exhibition games they have been focused all year and I see nothing keeping them from continuing have faith is all we are saying

Playoff Predictions: NYR in 6, WAS in 6 (this team seems very dangerous as an underdog, getting Backstrom back healthy, and maybe Holtby can step up like tonight), NJ in 5, PIT in 7, VAN in 5, SJ in 6 (don't trust STL), CHI in 6, DET in 7
- Jhockey20

Yes! I agree about the caps backstrom back they are healthy Ovechkin seems like he is going again. No doubting their talent and how many times do we see prohibitive favorites in the past underperform and then with less pressure they figure it out. I think the Caps was the team to avoid even with Holtby in net.

You can express your opinion all you want, I just don't understand your anger at them losing 2 meaningless games at the end to two teams who had more to play for in those games & are both good teams themselves, the other guys get paid to play too remember.

Torts will have the boys ready, don't you worry your glass half empty head off.

the Rangers game revolves around supreme work ethic, blocking shots all that gritty stuff

if anyone really expected them to keep playing like that 100% after they clinched the East, well, they also would be yelling if Callahan broke another ankle blocking a shot in a "meaningless" game.

They will be ready to go against Ottawa, I still can't believe it's Ottawa

Yea, for weeks we've been discussing the Caps or Buffalo, maybe Florida, nobody ever discussed the Sens. Gonna be tough, but that' the way this team likes it. Little early for this but I'll say RANGERS IN 6.

From what I have seen Parker Milner is undrafted and pretty good, might be a guy we want to look into.

we already got lightning in a bottle with Girardi. Now granted Girardi might be the hardest working defensemen in the league so it's not like he has an " ahhh shucks attitude". Not trtying to rain on you parade but it think we have enough of our own porspets too worry about.

Never realized Washington owned the tiebreaker over Ottawa.

Having said that, I am not excited for this matchup. Speed, toughness, depth on defense and some solid finishers can make this series a problem for New York.

I am with you and think the Rangers will win in six but I am not overly confident with that prediction.

The Rangers have used the "looking forward to the playoffs" excuse these last two games.

But if you think about it, they looked awful all week long. That Flyers game they got outplayed drastically; Bryzgalov sucking was the Rangers saving grace.

Not trying to be a buzz kill but judging by how they looked, against four playoff bound teams this week, doesn't inspire a lot going into the first round.

Having said that, Let's Go Rangers!

On the Senators, I am actually pleased with the matchup. I mean this as no disrespect to the Sens, because we all know how dangerous they are, but at the same time, if you gave me my choice of playoff matchups, they would probably be my second choice behind the Panthers. I can see the Capitals making a run. They are healthy, they are playing loose, and I have seen it way to may times where a perennial top seed has a bad year, and then does well in the playoffs when they have less expectations.

The Sens a very talented young team, and I can see them being a perennial top 4 seed in the East, maybe even a Cup contender sometime in the next few years. But, this in many ways is their first rodeo. They are young and inexperienced, and I think that the Rangers having at least played in the playoffs for most of the last few years, gives them a considerable advantage. I see the Rangers winning this series, and I think we are going to get the Caps in round 2 anyway. Just my gut feel.

We can hide behind that, "once they clinched try had nothing to try hard for" mantra but you can keep that bs, as far as I am concerned.

The team hasn't looked good in weeks and this isn't exactly a powerhouse club, that can just turn it on at the drop of a dime.

A team thriving on effort and overall solid team defense, that dials it back a bit can't just turn it back on because we expect them to.

And the fact that Ottawa has no problem playing in MSG scares the sh!t out of me.

Spezza, Alfredsson, Michalek and Karlsson are all scary offensively. Anderson also has the ability to steal a game or two.

All of my doubts will be squelched if New York comes out with their trademark intensity and takes it to Ottawa Thursday night.

But it's a dangerous game to play when you take your foot off of the gas pedal, especially with such an inexperienced playoff team like the Rangers.

I still think the Rangers are more suited to play when they are chasing something rather then the head of the pack. Now with the Cup staring them down from the distance, they have something to chase again. I really think this team will come out flying on Thursday
