You just can't wait for Saturday can you? We'll deal with the likes of you soon enough.

You mean TOMORROW? Yes, it should be interesting. I hope I'm not disappointed in the lack of fireworks when Danny B adjusts his skirt, scratches 87, 71, 18, & 29, and then we're left with a boring game of "nobody cares" before Round 1 starts.

Of course, even more than tomorrow's game, I'm looking forward to ending the Penguins' season in about 2 weeks. THEN you can have some material to cry & whine about.

Bravo John. Taking their cue from their coach and head whiner, the whining and name calling continues unabated on the Rangers blog.

Penguins fans calling anyone else(fans, teams, bloggers, players, ANYONE) whiners is hysterical. The team and its fans and its owner are the biggest whiners in the league

Tortorella was a complete embarrassment after the game last night. I think he is trying to pressure Shanahan into suspending Orpik for a few games. Penguins have beaten the Rags like a drum this year, Tortorella and company want no part of them. Just my .02 cents.
- PLindbergh31

With all due respect, how does that many ANY sense? Why would Torts care if Orpik gets suspended for a few games heading into Round 1? The Rangers will be playing the Caps, not the Pens. Whether Orpik gets suspended or not has absolutely no impact on the Rangers in Round 1 of the playoffs. And even if they both advance to Round 2, the Rangers will most likely face the Devils, not the Penguins. I just don't see any logic here.

I hate Torts as much as the next guy but I don't think he was an embarrassment last night. He didn't lose his cool and didn't yell & scream...he stayed calm and just spoke the truth without pulling any punches.

Pens do get dirty at times, but I watched the replay like 5 times, and I hate both the Rangers and the Penguins, but not once did I see Orpik extending his knee to make contact. It seemed more incidental than anything. If Orpik moved his knee out, then it's a different story, but Orpik came into the hit with a wide base and was getting ready to make a solid hit on Stepan. When Stepan tried to avoid it, he winded up hitting Orpik's knee and since Orpik was in a sturdy stance, Stepan took the most of the hit.

Just remember, whatver they do is OK. They'll be a reason or excuse for anything, Penguins hockey folks

Umm... Do you think the Rangers would rather the Flyers, or Penguins advance?

"can't touch him?" LOL....apparently you know nothing about the "tough guy" code when it comes to fighting. obviously, trying to have a conversation with you about that would be akin to having a battle of wits with an unarmed person. Carry on in your ignorance.
- shonoff95

lol. when a guy jumps into a melee, what does he expect is gonna happen? if crosby had stitches above his eye i highly doubt any of your players would lay off of him. if anything you would go after him even more with rabbit punches or gloves to the face etc. but ah well, its so difficult to talk to an irrational fan of a team that hasnt won anything in almost 40 years.

Aren't the Rangers the team that led the league in fighting majors?, didn't they have their little fiasco against the Devils? as on person mentioned, Rupp knees Staal?

so explain the whining.

and to the Flyers fans. I guess a clean hit to Danielle Briere is a "dirty" hit? give me a break, But Giroux can cross check the living crap out of someone and that's ok. Briere even said the hit was clean.

Can't wait to watch the Rangers lose in the first round. let the tears begin. Everyone make sure to buy stock in Cheese companies. There's going to be a lot of whining.

Nah. Laviolette didn't call the Penguins Organization arrogant, and he didn't attack Crosby and Malkin.

That is a terrible come back my friend. A response to Milbury's comments does not constitute whining. I would say a coach trying to fight on the bench a player saying he intended to hurt me with a clean hit and an assistant coach calling 2 players the dirtiest players in the league would fall under the definition of whining. I would say those all are childish acts.
- dbell646

Yes, Shero was whining. Lavs trying to fight someone was not "whining"...if anything, he was more of a man for trying to stand up for his players and do something about it instead of a wussy move like Dan B who hides behind his reading glasses & assistant coach. If Blysma wants to act like a tough guy and send out the 4th line with a minute left in a 3-goal game, then be man enough to answer for it...THAT'S a "childish act." And by the way...it's not just Berube that said that about Crosby & Malkin...those same comments have come from many other people around the league. Sometimes the truth hurts, "my friend"...and just because you can't handle it doesn't mean someone else is whining.

While some may agree with what he is saying, you can't behave like an infant after the game when you are a head coach. Tortorella should start holding his pressers in a sandbox.

Not to mention, I have heard Stepan isn't even seriously injured.
