I still think you are taking it a bit to seriously now that you've devoted 3 whole posts to the subject. Have you considered that maybe the fact that his parents gave him 2 female names is why he is so tough? Because lets face it, they didn't do him any favors there. Anyways, so now you've called me on it and made your point. Thanks for participating in our little corner of the world.

Thanks Captain Obvious, none of us could tell. You are wound up as tight as your coaching staff is. Have a seriously nice night!

When a coach knows his team, nothing happens by accident. You'll see.

And thanks...I will have a nice night. You do the same.

I'd like to think that nothing will happen in the game but I also realize that the Flyers probably feel that they have something to prove after the goon Joe Vitale laid that brutal beating on Briere.

Tomorrow's gonna be fun as a precursor to Round 1. It will definitely set the tone (as if one needed to be set).

I'll don't see tomorrow getting out of hand. Probably a canned fight and few scrums.

I see Dans glasses broke and Lavy with a busted lip. Then around of whiskey shots and Milbury comes out in a hula skirt.

Everybody is scared of somebody

Funny thing is if mac plays vitale's line mates will be asham and big mac. I think he will be as safe from payback as he could be. Roll out engo on D and thats a scary line to start a brawl with. If things do start getting out of hand theres a way to calm them down real fast so nothing stupid does happen. Same can be done for sid or geno if need be.

I think this latest crap from flyers and rangers is showing they are threatened the most by Pittsburgh. Pens are the most dangerous team regardless of season results.

For the life of me, I don't get the Torts fine. I disagree with him, and think he's a drama queen, but it just seemed like a petty move by the league. Complaining and whining about another team and it's players isn't the same as questioning the integrity of the league.

About today's game, I really can't see anything happening. A couple stupid, staged fights... MacIntyre and Shelley if the both dress, someone challenging Vitale, and maybe Asham & Rinaldo since they had some words.

I think it will be an otherwise low key game, as it obviously means nothing to either team.

Do you think MacIntyre call up sends a message to Philly that they are ready for a brawl? I think the teams might try to settle the score before the playoffs, instead of during them.

Yes, and he (Milbury) will rip off his hula skirt and commence fighting just as he advised Diso Dan to do against Lavy.

I don't like the message. I guess its just insurance if Shelley dresses, but I'd be fine with Engelland handling that if the situation came up. I don't know about the flyers, but from the pens side, there really isn't any type of score to settle anyway.

Idk. The point was raised that you don't see this in the two big powerhouse leagues, the NFL and MLB. Some would say that it is circus type stuff like that that keeps the sport from re-gaining national prominence. I'm not sure, but I can't dismiss the thought outright.

They might try to injure Sid? Think twice if Mac is there, I guess. Getting to feel like a 3 ring circus in the NHL these days.

So we go there from Philly last night and walked around a bit..what a view from the Pirates stadium. The three of us also almost got jumped by about 15 younger people but a cop drove by right as they were throwing a soda bottle at us..

Anyway..on to the game..If Im lavi Giroux, Timonnen, Jagr, Voracek are told to leave their skates on the bus. Same with Bylsma as he should not dress Crosby Malkin, Neal or Letang.. It sucks because as a hockey fan I want to see the best game but i also want to see these two teams as healthy as possible for the playoffs..

Flyers are pretty much already decimated by injuries, at least on the defensive front so we dont need anything additional.

Anyway..i hope no one from either team gets killed today and I can't wait for the playoffs.. Best of luck Pens and Go Flyers!

With the pens being the biggest disgrace in the NHL. Karma is a b}@tch. Mac is nothing the Flyers can't destroy.

Let's hope the Flyers settle the score with the fems today. What's with the Mac call up? Another classy move from truly classy organization. Your coach really is gutless. Like your team.

Try not to get knocked out in 1st round because I want to watch Torts cry when he has to shake Sids hand!!! You better pray that Philly beats us because the Rags wont.

I don't know... I doubt it. If Mac & Shelley are in the lineup, all we are going to see from them is two irrelevant hockey "players" drop the gloves off of a faceoff, and each of them spend about 56 minutes of the game on their bench or in the box.

I mean who else on the Flyers (or the Pens for that matter) is stupid enough to do something to try to injure someone and get themselves suspended for the playoffs? Even if someone like Rinaldo did something stupid, he's a middleweight, Asham or Engelland could address that, and vice versa,
