Is everything he posts like 2 days old or is it just me?

I think that he's just two days behind the rest of the world. Sometimes that happens your parents are siblings....

last i heard of the constitution let everyone have their opinions...

edit: crap your from canada.. you dont know what the rules are

paille's hit wouldnt have been called if he didnt leave his feet, and yes you can argue that his force drove him up into the air but i would like a formula from you to prove that the momentum x force = feet leaving ice after you hit someone..

also yes we have all said letang should have been called on a diving but he wasnt... it goes back and forth for every team.... deal with it... we do when we lose.. you get until 3pm est to be pissed then move on.... ok good...

- nh4442

I was referring more to the blogger praising faking/embellishing as something to be proud of. It's not.

You honestly think that Paille hit on Niskanen was cheap? Wow.

And praising Letang for faking getting high-sticked? Pretty lame.
- Dano819

Have to agree with this.

After watching Kris Letang get a broken nose and concussion with no penalty called on the Habs’ Max Pacioretty in November, then subsequently watching Letang miss the Pens’ next 20-plus games, you’re darn right I’m glad Letang drew that penalty. Peverly had no business with his stick in Letang’s face. Maybe that penalty will make Peverly think about keeping his stick on the ice, where it should be.

Daniel Paille was penalized for charging Matt Niskanen, who now looks to be out for who knows how long.

Briere is now whining about the hit too saying he was injured deliberately by Joe V. Never mind that he was admiring the logo on the puck while he skated through the middle.

They love physical hockey, except when it happens to them. They laugh at concussions, forgetting about Pronger, Lindros, and Primeau.

You should be even-handed, though. If Briere/Giroux, etc, anyone who has had a concussion issue pulls a similar act in the playoffs against the Pens, it will ring pretty hollow if you call them out for it.

So, you believe that if a player suffered an injury before, when he returns he should fake and embellish to draw phantom penalties in an effort to undo the wrong that was done to him before? Weird.

I think if you can get a penalty then good job. It's part of the game now. Everyone's head is on a swivel and it's no worse than grabbing a stick in your arm to get a hooking penalty called.

Wow - looks like Pens/Flyers at 4PM, Pirates/Phils at 7PM if I'm reading the schedule correctly. I feel bad for any family going to the baseball game that night -- with a mix of tanked Flyers/Phils fans heading to PNC, that could be ugly.

This is a video of Letang play last night. At the 16 second mark it looks like his face and helmet moves as if the stick hits him. Obviously the snapping of this head was not needed but it actually appears to hit him after looking at it closer. Either way its over with and on to the next game.

And Phils fans usually over run PNC Park. It's mostly civil, but with the events of the respective hockey teams from last week, and the real possibility of a playoff matchup......

I disagree that it should be encouraged, but let's face it it's not as though any team is innocent of it. The calls even out eventually, I'd prefer if no one did it, including Bruins players.

No news yet that I've seen, except that Julien suggested that it might not have been as bad as it looked.

Player should be in control of his stick at all times, no question about it. They teach you that, the moment you pick up a stick. Did Letang embelish, probably. Who knows, maybe all the shots to the head this year for him has caused alot of flintching!

I just listened to Berube and I would never of thought he would go female dog but he did. Matt Cooke was dirty. Colby Armstrong, Jarrko Ruutu and were dirty. What Sid and Geno do isn't dirty. They might give a slash here and there but Philly was hitting them after the whistles every play. Wasn't that the point Philly? To get them annoyed? What we're they expecting? Besides it's simple the refs could control the game by calling it.
