Agree completely. Scrivens got 3 out of 4 points in games that Buffalo HAD to have.
- Pairo11

im just thankful that game meant nothing to Toronto - 30+ years of watching the NHL and i cant remember seeing such a bad reffed period.

that made Don Koharski look like the best ref to ever play the game.

I too not knowing much about the player said that he reeked like an AHL throw in, well he may have been just that but nobody told him. He has done great. Like I said last week, he might be your Pascal Dupuis, the throw in, in a larger trade that ends up being quite a solid addition.
- Gunner Staal

I Watched Dupuis in Atlanta and knew he would be a player somewhere if he could get some talent around him.

I think it was a numbers game for him out there

then again if that was the case, why the hell would the nucks want grags?

I remember seeing him in Minnesota and Atlanta and thinking he was a nice fast player, did some things well. Never thought he would hit 24 goals without any PP time or playing with 87/71 (he just recently got moved to 87's line).

Why would anybody?

I remember seeing through his little playoff run as lightning in a bottle. I just don't like defensemen of his mold. He reminded me of a less skilled Goligoski, not a good thing.

it was the truth, did you not watch the game or were you honestly thinking it was fair?

i WANTED TO LOSE and i was just laughing my way through the third period, the tying goal at the end of the game was an embarassment to the NHLPA.

that was weeks ago, but thanks.

dont worry, your's isnt far off.

Miller let in 5 goals vs an AHL team + 5 NHL'ers.

Quit making job's at an angry, confused Leafs fan. He obviously didn't care if the Leafs won.

Really, he didn't.

I think part of it was grags going back and forth from a winger to a d man when we split rochester with the panthers

part of it was he never really learned how to play d

and part of it was other teams figured him out in the off season.

I hope peggy's daughter has enough money to buy a new jersey now that grags is gone though

If you rearrange 'Grag's' in the right way you can come up with 'Sulzer'.

Guys of his body build and style of play will never be effective defensemen. Gragnani is a modern day Marc Andre Bergeron. Somebody desperate for a defensmen who has some puck skills to run a PP will always find a 7th d spot for him. Nothing more, nothing less.

Great deal by Regier. It opened up a spot for Foligno, which might be the only reason the Sabres are in the position they are in, and Sulzer has played great all things considered. Sabres do not miss Gragnani or Kassian now, short or long term. The key is to get Hodgson on the scoresheet on a regular basis starting next year.

Never a way to prove it but IMO every ref in every game in the past 20 years (except in Montreal of course where the give the home team freebies all the time) would have blown that play dead in under 4 seconds. Whether he saw the puck or not there was too much of a scrum. They always give the goalie the benefit on that play.

Agreed. You would think that in today's day-and-age in sports that ref's would not be swayed by the emotion of a hostile crowd like what usually happens in Montreal.

At least last nights ref was not intimidated by the crowd. League officials wanted Buffalo to win.

Why would you stoop as low as to think that one team gets the benefit of tainted officiating? What proof do you have that the refs make calls there, because of the pressure from the crowd, and not just because the refs in the NHL downright putrid? I mean, I get that it helps take the sting out of a loss (not this year though), but other than that...
