He was absolutely the best player on the ice tonight.

Looked like someday, he might be the second Foligno with a C on his shirt.

Roy certainly has a way to make me incredibly frustrated. He looked completely disinterested for a large portion of the game but still manages to score 2 goals. No surprise though, he scores 2 (including the OT game winner), and isn't even a star of the game. What does that say about him? It's games like this though that worry me that they'll keep him when they should look to move him around the draft.

Just watched the highlights on NHL network. Let us not forget Sulzer had 2 goals and a critical assist. We are so lucky to have scored this guy. Granted he had a couple poor defensive situations that allowed 2 TO goals, but none the less he's been worth it. Can Darcy find a way to keep him on the payroll?

Top 2 dmen went down.

It's not just that. I know that's probably part of it, but I think Miller got rattled against Pittsburgh. Playing him against Crosby is just not good for his pysche. Really, they should have started Enroth in that game. But again, that's on Ruff and his poor goalie management skills.

I don't think it's a matter of finding a way to keep him on the payroll, but instead finding room for him on the roster. McNabb could easily make the jump. Brennan has paid his dues and if given regular time could probably be a pretty solid 5-6 guy. None of the 7 guys here are at the end of their contract other than Sulzer. I do like the chemistry he has with Ehrhoff though. I guess what they should do is move a few of the pieces they have back there. Not sure they will though.

Dude, you seem to pay more attention to hating the Leafs and their fans then you do celebrating the biggest win of the year for the Sabres.

U mad bro?

I don't hate Leafs fans. I enjoy watching them punish themselves for trying to prove an undying loyalty to a totally dead team.

I saw a guy walking into the FNC today with a jersey that said Deluded Since for the name and then the number 67. It was awesome.

I think Brennan could use half a season in Roch still. Potential is still all there. I just think Sulz has more to offer in Oct, Nov, Dec next year that Brennan will. Maybe even same for Mcnabb too.

ya know what the funny part about this was? I thought for sure 2 months ago that this game would have playoff implications. I just thought that it would be Buffalo trying to be the spoiler. Guess I wasn't entirely wrong.

I think Brennan has hit his ceiling in Rochester. I think the only way his game develops any further is with regular time in the NHL. Same with McNabb.

I must say though, I'm pretty excited to go see the Rochester/Lake Erie game on the 14th.

Atleast they have a sense of humor, it's gotta be as painful for them as is it for Bills fans

Gotta love the Leafs and the fans.

Just remember though...if you ever feel down because of the Sabres ...whether it be a loss, a playoff elimination or a massive overpayment for a Finnish 1 year wonder...just remind yourself that you aren't a Leaf fan ...things could always be worse.

Give him the Vezina!

Or at least a $5mm long term contract in Philly.

He's been really solid for Phoenix this year. I don't know that they would be battling for a playoff position without him.

But speaking of Bryzgalov, someone tried telling me that he won't be in Philly next year. I don't know how he thinks that it's even possible, since there's what, 8 more years on that deal?
