Carey Price.

Announcer: Wait, what?
Annoucner 2: It seems the Leafs have found in the rule book an old rule where a team may challenge for a previously chosen player in the frist round, with their own first round pick. The rules states that if a team exercises this, the opposing team either accepts, or chooses to battle the challenger. If they do not accept, both GMs must roll up their sleves and commence an old fashioned slap battle until one of the two gives up.

Annoucner: Wow, are you serious?
Announcer 2: No, no im not....Im drunk.

I didn't notice the "OH THERE IT IS" head juke watching the highlights this morning. Wow, just wow.

Sabres dont need to worry about an early playoff exit, because they arent getting there.

Awesome...... Leafs need to be patient and build through the draft, but when a prospect is still in Junior and doesn't look like a sure bet to score 30 he's a bust. Can we contradict ourselves anymore? It's no wonder we are made fun of so much. The few ruin it for the masses.

If Burke & Co. have half a brain between them, they deal for Shultz's rights and try to sign him before July 1st.

Given Burke's relationship with Anaheim and the fact that they've been great trading partners over the past few seasons, I could totally see this happening.
(Hopefully Anaheim isn't bitter about the Lupul/Gardiner for Beauchemin trade)

If Shultz does happen, who becomes the most expendable Leafs d-men? And who are the most likely trading partners there? In other words, who are the TOP 5 teams around the league that are in need of d-men (Edmonton... + + + +)?

but we needed the loss so for once poopty reffing paid off

Yes, because getting the 5th or 6th overall pick instead of the 7th is much more important than the team being able to hang to a lead.

Joey Crabb, if he continues developing, I think is a great 3rd line player and maybe if he gets his hands going, a good 2nd line option for the future.

All I could do was laugh at the game, the ref had no clue where the puck was, the overhead view of the replay says it all, the puck goes in the net, the refs head does not follow it in, very comical.

oh well, c'est la vie.

EXAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACTLY!

Seriously, trying watching a Leafs game on mute with "Yakety Sax" (the theme song from Benny Hill) playing instead.

You wanna talk about comical?

I think the refs thoughts were this: Buffalo NEEDS to win, and Leafs NEED to lose
