Yeah he spent, I think, 7 years in the AHL before ever really getting a shot. I'd like to see him back with the Isles, but it's gotta be at the right price. He may get 5+ on the open market and strictly from a common sense standpoint he doesn't deserve to have an average cap hit higher than Tavares' $5.5mil.

Oh I do see the big picture, drafting is great but is just one part of building a good team. Losing and not making the playoffs does'nt help build a team when it happens every year, there has to be some growth which there hasnt been. This team is good at one thing and thats losing games, especially games that they HAVE to get up for.

That comment was heavily laden with sarcasam and was'nt in reference to Snows drafting but the fact that is all Snow does and some people think hes a great GM for it. Some fans get hung up on drafting alone because thats all we do, this kid(Jimmy ccc or whatever his name is) being one of them.

Hahahahah........I was at the game when he scored his first goal. My two friends I was with couldnt believe it was his first of the year. Then they announced "Goal scored by Reasoner, his first of the year". Well done Marty, its only game 78 of the season.....way to show up to the party

Nobody knows what happened except the guys in that room. You or I don't know what Smith agreed to when he first came on. How do you know for sure Wang said one thing and then did something else? Bottom line is you just don't know if you weren't in that room
