Briere should keep his head up and watch his surroundings. The intent to lay him out was there but if he is aware of his surroundings he doesnt get blasted.

I disagree. He never hit Briere in the head or attempted to. There was no suspension or penalty called on the hit so I dont think their was head hunting going on. Briere got laid out for having his head down and looking at the puck.

There was so much actual hockey that went on in that game that I'm kinda disappointed we are all stuck on that 10 seconds of silliness.

Pens had last change, and waited before playing that line... Its not like Lavi said who wants to get lit up.... and Briere said..."ME". It was cheap what BILEsma did. Thats why Lavi was pissed. If Dan wanted to send a message... Send out the goons before last change and let the Flyers counter... But BILEsma wanted someone to get hurt...
