Hell, three quarters of the team has disappeared. I expect to start seeing their mugs on a missing persons flyer any day now.

We must be moving up in the hockey world, the new Stanley Cup commercial features a scene with a tent and a Preds jersey hanging outside.

I guess I should be greatful they at least didn't show an outhouse with a Preds jersey hanging on the door.

How many shots can they whiff on tonight? Fisher whiffs every time he gets the puck. Jesus.

I will never complain about Fish. He is not consistent in his goal scoring, that we know. But he consistently brings his best game EVERY night.

It's tough playing against Minnesota. That games is consistently the worst, most boring game on the schedule every year. The Wild are pretty good defensively and they cause the home team to constantly turn over the puck in the neutral zone. On the other hand, they're so mediocre offensively that they themselves constantly turn the puck over in the neutral zone. What you get is a very bad game of Pong by both sides.

There were some really great plays last night, (Spaling to Bourque for instance) and both goalies made some tremendous saves. The biggest problem I see with the Preds on home ice is the constant slipping and bad passes. I don't notice the other team slipping as much, but I know MN was doing it a bit because my friend kept commenting on it.

Oh well, take the two points, thank the players association for turning down re-alignment (thus keeping Minnesota out of our division) and let's move on to Dallas.

The Preds will need a MUCH better effort on Thursday.

The ice was a big problem and I'm sure the cause of a lot of the problems last night. Soft ice - can't skate as fast and slows the puck. The first clue was the constant falling of the players all over the ice. It affected both teams of course, but still it changes how play occurs. Hope that humidifier is set up before the Dallas game and they don't wait until the playoffs.

Couldn't have better mirrored what I was thinking on the way home. It felt like 75% of the play was between the blue lines which can be is tedious for everyone - players and coaches included. I must have siad it half a dozen times during the game that this is a typical Preds/Minny game but that I hoped we could find a way to win. Some (not all) of the excess criticism I've read is misplaced and/or undeserved. And even if were not, what's most important is that we got the two points.

And yes, outstanding pass and goal from the Spaling/Borque play. And thanks for the shootout score from #47!

Close. I think there is a tentative one scheduled for 2018/2019 season.

That is the most falls for no apparent reason that I've can remember seeing in a very long time - maybe most ever. Stu & Tom commented on it a lot, stating more than once how odd it was.
