Dissing Lundquist is crazy talk. Fleury and Lundquist are both great goalies who are suited for the teams they play for.

I love the Flower. He is big when we need him to be big. That said, I think in the playoffs this year, I'd rather have The King in net. I don't like the soft goals Fleury is giving up.

It would appear neither Buffalo or Washington wants to play the Rangers. Too bad Winnipeg couldn't win a couple more games down the stretch. Would have loved to see playoff hockey in the Peg this year.

Would have loved to see a Winnipeg/Philly matchup. 8-6 each game with the Jets prevailing.

The real question is could the King be good in a Pens system that seems to let MAF hung out to dry 3 sometimes 4 times a game.

I don't know. Fleury can look so unbeatable at times. He is more acrobatic than the King. IMO, the King doesn't give up the cheapy goals that Fleury does.

Shouldn't laugh but the Pens really need to tighten it up, the Playoffs won't last long with that type of D.

For the record, any non-tourist knows that Geno's isn't the best cheesesteak. I know you wanted to use that to go along with your story, but come on now.
- broadstreetbully12

I actually was tourist a few weeks ago in Philly... pretty OK city. I only ate cheesesteaks when I was there for 4 days straight.

Pats wins for best cheesesteak

Jims was good.. but the people there sucked

Geno's was eh

Tony Luke's = sames as Jim's

Best for the money? Street cheesesteak stall!

Honestly 10-14 dollars for a cheesesteak is ridiculous!

Does Mike Milbury know a thing about the Penguins. When has Bylsma ever shown any emotion? Is anyone other than Milbury shocked that the always calm and collected Bylsma wasn't losing his head. Unlike Laviolette who has been known as more of a rant and rave coach.

I wonder if the analysts who know their stuff just laugh at Milbury. He has to be viewed as comic relief.

How does he get paid to give his opinion on the NHL? It still flabbergasts me.

I have no idea what his contract status is ( I know he is still with ESPN) but the second his contract is up NBCSN needs to go hard after Gary Thorne. Then hopefully it is a trickle down effect of competent broadcasters. There has got to be somebody out there not in the mold of Milbury, Roenick, etc... For some reason US broadcasters think that we need a Don Cherry (I like him, not as much in recent years though) but there isnt another Don Cherry, just more idiotic imitators.

I'm not one to be sensitive to Penguin criticism on national TV. One, they usually go out of their way overboard to compliment any team but definitely more-so with the Pens. Two, I already have my own opinion on things that I am confident in so I don't need the broadcast to form them for me. But is it really good business to rip on the league's #1 star and make fun of him for concussions? I mean is the league not trying to battle against concussions and raise awareness? Then you have one of your lead broadcasters saying the complete opposite.

Good point. Not a Milbury fan. Hard to believe he was once an NHL coach and GM. Buisness people who don't understand the game make these decisions? I supose.

Hope we get a bounce back against Boston tonight. Seems like we have gone from unbeatavle to paper tiger. Frustrating as a fan to see the decline in our quality of play. I know from recent years it is not something you can 'turn on' in the playoffs. They don't have much time to get it straightened out. Maybe getting Crosby back has created some adjustment issues for the team?

HCDB is a class act. They asked him about the comments he said first off I wasn't wearing a skirt it was a blue suit and as for Lavi's bench antics they were just that we don't play the game. Ha Ha great answer. Why feed into that. Sounded like he wanted to say is I don't make a fool of myself on national tv and if he said that to me at a pub or on the street things would have been different

Milbury gets paid to be and assclown, not give his opinion. Same with JR. Basically paid to be "controversial". People are saying the Pens should refuse to be interviewed the next time Milbury is assigned to a Pens game. I'd rather see and interview where a Penguin ignores the question and instead says something about Milbury's propensity for beating up children and ruining hockey franchises.

For instance.... PM talking to Brooks Orpik "So Brooks tight checking game out there tonight....." Yeah, not a lot of room out there tonight, but what we're really worried about is Mike Milbury beating up another child" Live TV! Kind of hard to edit that....

The thing about Bylsma is that he never, ever shows any emotion. It's something that I wish we would see. Like when Malkin turns it over at the blueline on the PP and gives away a shorthanded goal. Most coaches would be livid, but Bylsma, while he doesn't look happy, he still looks calm. So when it came to the bench antics, I didn't expect to see him lose his cool.

ha Yeah I was just looking through the stats and saw that the Bruins have the top five players in the league when it come to +/- and was curious who led the pens.

As for the other post. After last night I think Quick has the edge. He has been bailed out by his offense very few times and he has 10 freaking shutouts! His record doesn't do him justice since he has lost multiple games 1-0 and 2-1 because somehow his offense forgot how to score for a while there.

What are you going to tell the guy though? Its not easy with an MVP player. You kinda let them do their thing. Malkin works hard and yes, he does indeed make mistakes, but they are few and far between. I think as far as Malkin giving up shorthanded breakaways, how can Bylsma get upset with a player that isn't being put in the proper place to begin with?

13 times he has lost while giving up 2 goals or less.
