Yeah... probably on the downside of his career.

I'm willing to bet he doesn't block that many shots either...

Apparently, Schultz was looking forward to playing with Gardiner. He was quoted as saying he was a bit disappointed that he wouldn't get the chance to play with him after he got traded
- PTVinnyMac

I can see Schultz coming here more than anything else coming up this off season. The fact he hasn't signed, played with Gardiner and Burke loves his mid-early 20 players... who played in the NCAA hoping he's going to make a big impact is my reasoning.

Instead of just tanking like he should and getting prospects who are 18 years old and who are just a good as a 22 year olds.

And... we'll hype him up to be awesome, which he won't be.

Appearantly Schultz is the real deal and is ready to step into the NHL now. From what I have been told he is better than Gardiner in almost all aspects of the game.

And Gardiners 5g 22a rookie season is pretty impressive to me. He's been one of our best D-man all year.

Well, Schultz would be in addition to drafting 2nd overall in my scenario. I'm not at all saying we should keep our draft pick. I'm saying sign Schultz, use our pick and a D to swap with Edmonton for a higher pick and have at it!

He didn't buy it. The owner of Wells Ford gave it to him for the day since he lives in Pittsburgh.

If we were to somehow get Schultz we would HAVE to move a D or two.

IF Shultz was a possibility, what kind of contract do you think it would take from the Leafs to land Shultz?
