I would consider it.. I doubt the leafs sign Shultz... i really have no basis for saying that, just that it would be to much of a good thing to happen to the leafs. Maybe the Gardiner factor helps...but who knows...

My main objective for the leafs is to get the best Center available...if Edm is #2 that would accomplish that, but at the expense of schenn...i dont know

I don't see the point in trading Schenn plus our 4th or 5th like he said, just for the 2nd-3rd. It would be the difference between Grig or Gal, and I'm not exactly sold on which one i like more anyways.

Apparently, Schultz was looking forward to playing with Gardiner. He was quoted as saying he was a bit disappointed that he wouldn't get the chance to play with him after he got traded

Well, it's more to get the opportunity to really be able to choose who they want. Edmonton's pick is #2, they need D. It doesn't have to be Scheen, it could be another one of our D. Point is, to get to the highest possible draft position for choosing power.

not likely...and not usually a great idea...best to let them develop and be sure theyre ready. Were not Edmonton...
