ha...ha....yea....so I pulled up four tiles around the toilet because I thought I had four extra tiles that I could lay back down, I only realized after that althought there WAS in fact four extra tiles, 2 of them were different colours.

So....me n my buddy tried to scrape mortar off the back of two used tiles to try and reuse them but ended up cracking one (go figure). So, I had to buy new tiles cause they couldnt match the ones I had (go figure). Which lead to having to pull up all the tiles, leveling out the cement floor, cutting a bunch of tiles and putting them down then wait 48hrs for the mortar to dry


What should have been a 2-3 day job is turning into a week job

Atleast I got all the plumbing done for the toilet, so once I grout tonight, paint and put up baseboards, the toilet is good to go

she decided it was worth it, after talking some sense into her....we've spent about 300 so far and will likely be shy of 400 before its all done. It will add a half bath to the house...should add ATLEAST around 2k to the sale price...

im waiting a bit...ive been applying all over the place because Ive realized that the jobs I "wanted" might be a bit too much to seek right now with my "experience". So Im applying to a bunch of places to get experience that could be related to the job I want later on. Likely here in London....so if I grab something new soon we might throw it up on the market.

thing is...we pay $265/month in condo fees in addition to our mortgage, so we can really afford something bigger at our current salary...but am gonna wait anyways.
