Oh so he will be a superstar?
Wow, you can see into the future...good for you little kid!
Here's the point.
Who cares about Rask...he's not a Leaf.....its not the best use of our 1st to draft a goalie right now.
Get it? - Fakepartofme

He's still a back up.
The guy made him sound as if Rask had turned into a superstar.
Not the case. - Fakepartofme
If you are referring to me, I just meant to say that Rask was drafted in the first round and has taken every step that a goalie takes to becoming a number one in the NHL. Remember in the WJC, Pogger was MVP but Rask won best goaltender award. He was stellar in AHL, and has performed solidly in NHL. |

Gustavsson is among the worst goalies in the league. Shoot above the waist and it's in the net. He is done with the Leafs and possibly done in the NHL too. - Unholy_Goalie
Not arguing....but he's better than redlight reimer. |

Perfect, Hey with this system in place we might aswell close all public toilets, they problem cost more to maintain then paying 50 cents to a homless person to pick up.
I think we are on to something great here. |

And I agreed with that. Using 5th to 10th overall on a goalie, in this draft, doesn't make sense. It does make sense however to significantly improve the goaltending situation in Toronto. We have prospects? Rynnas? Owuya? Scrivens? Decent but not exactly eye-popping goaltending prospects. - Unholy_Goalie

Just because you have a lot of goalies, doesn't mean you have "good" goalie depth. |

Not even close. Reimer has a weak glove hand but he is a much better goalie than Gustavsson. And much younger. A sophomore slump and a concussion will put a guy behind. |

Rebuilding the economy one turd at a time.
The homeless can double their venture profits by setting up shoe shining stands and placing a toilet instead of a plain old seat. |

scary thing about reimer is this isnt his first concussion.. how many can a guy sustain before he doesnt recover fully.

Oh I'm not putting down Rask...I have no doubt he'll be a decent number 1.
But a superstar....dont know.
And we wont know until he's played 2 full seasons as a number 1. |
