Tried getting season 2 opener online but I got gunned down, none of them work - AdamFrench
I watched it an hour after it was over. Hard time for it to buffer for some reason, but i did manage to get it to work after a while, should be plenty of links available by now. Try sidereel instead. |

Not like the Leafs need a young goalie in the organization or anything. - Prolific_Scorer
Leafs definitely need a goalie but they can't use their 1st round pick on one. There aren't any goalies anywhere near that good to warrant using it.
Now, had the Leafs traded Grabovski and MacArthur, and acquired two more 1st round picks at the deadline, then it would make more sense to use one of those picks. But that's far too logical of a solution for this team.
That being said, goaltenders quite literally pop-up from absolutely anywhere and everywhere. From Rinne and Lundqvist to Price and Fleury to Thomas to anybody else out there. Goalies are wild cards. They can go 1st overall, last overall or be UFAs in their mid-20s. |

I think they will trade down. Most if not all of the other teams in the top 5 will be picking forwards - maverickJ ''
I agree it would work well for the 2 teams involved.. I just think GMs are terrified now to trade top 5 picks, no one has the balls for fear they might get Burked...and just take the "best player available" no matter what position.

Anybody here ever NOT pick up after their dog?
Be honest.
If so, why? - Juice
A little late but, no I don't because I my dog goes in the back yard and the un maintained trail/field beside my house. The only other things that go in that field would be other wild animals like Badgers, Skunks and Flyfreaky. |

Does Edmonton use the #2/3 pick? or offer it to teams in the 4-7 range depending on whats included with it.
I think Columbus would be silly to trade the #1 pick.. it sounds like the only real lock for a star player. - senstroll
Hopefully the oil and leafs work out a deal.
Leafs trade:
Schenn, 1st, Biggs, Ross another roster player (forward).
For Edm
1st, and Eberle.
this will never happen I know....but I would love it. |

Friend of my Dad knows Burke from Providence college. Apparently he was scouting the 67's and Belleville series. Only two players on the radar from those teams, Malcolm Subban and Cody Ceci. Have to think he was scouting Subban more; remember that Burke likes NHL pedigree and was saying that usually the younger brother ended up being the better player...just saying. - wendel13

Covert and even subtle Exploitation is the key to any succesful campaign - Oilhab

Using the homeless (who often have mental deficientcies) to pick up dog poop for pennies (and the ignorant and lazy a-holes who leave it there) is too obvious when it comes to exploitation.

Lol yeah, name the last goalie we drafted in the first round? Rask? Oh he turned out like sh!t. Why don't we stop taking older late round and undrafted players and calling them "prospects" and actually draft one with the talent at a young age and see how he develops. Gustavsson, Reimer, Pogge, Scrivens never were supposed to be stars. Even Pogge wasn't a first round pick. - wendel13
Rask hasn't turned into anything yet. Except for a back up. |

Oh, i know, i had the same issue last night, and this is not about to be getting any better anytime soon, the new internet laws are soon going to have them all shut down, and the only place that you are going to get anything is from private download sites that you will have to be a member in and invited to and will have serious upload to download rules etc, likely that they change locations 3 times a year too.... |

Only because they have Thomas, a Vezina and Conn Smythe winner, who is kind of in the way.

Rask is the best backup in the league after Cory Schneider in Vancouver. |
