Who you thinking?
I really doubt Getzlaf and E. Staal are remotely available.
Ribeiro? Roy? - The Law
What do you know about either of these guys that qualifies them as a #1C. Leafs tried the mushy, lazy overpaid skilled guy (read Connolly) last year... how'd that work out?
Ribeiro - soft as mush...
Roy - injuries starting t accumulate, little guy, brings little if anything the Leafs don't already have.
Just because the Leafs were stupid enough to pay Connolly 4.5M doesn't mean he's actually a 4.5M player. Neither are Ribeiro or Roy. |

Ive been wondering that too. CBC and TSN have NHL Playoffs and Sportsnet has OHL Playoffs/Memorial cup and Blue Jays baseball.
So im not sure who could cover it. The score?! lol - t_leafs21
I believe one of the big networks(SN i believe) carry the championship series....
Will leafs TV carry opening round?? |

#Habs have recorded 410 man-games lost to injury this season -- 1st in NHL. Markov (69), White (55), Gionta (48), Gomez (41) lead the way. - Symba007

That it is...but is it so icky that you don't pick up after your dog? - Juice
Can't touch it when it is soft, so let it sit their and harden, if it is still there the next day i'll boot it into the storm drain.
Besides the country has an unemployment issue, why doesn't the cities creat some jobs and hire sidewalk cleaners, they have them in europe.
PS. I don't have a dog |

Right....but then don't get a dog...so many friggin losers buy a dog and just think it's cool if it goes anywhere and they just walk away.
Friggin drives me insane!!
And the most frustrating part...I never see it happen, I can't wait for the day where I get to pick up someone else's dog crap and whip the bag at them. - Juice

Friend of my Dad knows Burke from Providence college. Apparently he was scouting the 67's and Belleville series. Only two players on the radar from those teams, Malcolm Subban and Cody Ceci. Have to think he was scouting Subban more; remember that Burke likes NHL pedigree and was saying that usually the younger brother ended up being the better player...just saying. |

I get what you are trying to point out... but frankly - counting on Markov would seem not to prudent anymore, Gionta is a 2nd line player at best. Having Gomez out of the line-up is a bonus - can't be any argument there and White has a ceiling as a third liner.
So while the Habs had injury counts that were high - how impactful were they really? |
