I think laviolette was pissed they sent out that line when briere etc were on. Hard to blame him at that point in the game. was a clean hit though

Yea it was a clean hit...but a big open ice hit with less then 2 mins left in a 3 goal game. If someone hit a Ranger there, i would have wanted the Rangers to react in the same manner.

l gotta say that that crazy melee at the end of the Philly/Pens game was way more entertaining then the 3 scraps at the start of that Ranger/Devils game. Lavvy was real close to getting at Granato/Blysma there. I thought the hit by Vitale that started that was totally clean though btw.

That whole sequence was spectacular, Crosby got away with a ton of stick work, Malkin takes a full swing at Coutourier right infront of the ref and no call, the Penguins get to do whatever they want and whine until they get a call, it's what makes hockey unattractive, glad to see the Flyers comeback and win that one going away.

Voracek is a beast who has the skill to be really dominant, nothing would have been better than Laviolette jumping on the Pens bench and beating the piss out of Bylsma.

It was 100% clean but for those guys to be out there was intent from Bylsma, when Cindy's helmet came off I was screaming, "HIT HIM!"

Asham might get a suspension as he was already out of the game & went back after Rinaldo (EVEN THOUGH THAT WAS FUN) at the bench there, Rinaldo looked like he was gesturing at Crosby to go out & fight. Crosby might be the only player in the NHL Rinaldo could take in a fight.
