Exactly. It's a rivalry game. There's going to be chippy and dirty play from both sides. It's happened in the NHL for over 100 years now. Grow up and quit complaining.

No question about it. The trust Couturier has earned from being responsible defensively and always being in the right position is amazing. He's a 19 year old kid, who has the hockey awareness of a 30 year old 10 year veteran. I'm stunned how good of a player he is at this stage of his career.

Holmgren gave up two second round picks to acquire Kubina, and Grossmann. 1. To try and replace the skill set Pronger brings, and 2. To avoid having to play two rookies in the playoffs in MAB, and Gus. Well right now there is a chance Bourdon and Gustafsson will start the playoffs. I think they are more capable than guys like Krajicek, Parent, and Bartulis.

I just wish the Flyers would start playing better in the beginning of the game and stop trailing every single game. This team has a lot of fight and is never out of a game but you would like to see them play with the lead for a change.

I think if the Flyers had the kind of good fortune with injuries that the Rags have enjoyed this season, the Flyers would be challenging for a President's Trophy right now.

The Eagles will upgrade over Dunlap. If they dont its going to be a long season but Reid will find someone who can fill in and play well.

Today's game was like a playoff game. If players werent playing chippy or dirty (depending on your view) then something is wrong. I love the intensity and the hatred out on the ice. If your not competitive why play the game.
