The only thing that would have made the end of the game more epic is if Lava and Bylsma would have actually come to blows between the benches and one of them had accidentally KO'ed Pierre.
- Emperor Filonius

Bylsma was hiding out behind his assistant coach, punk just like the Pens players.

With a face full of stitches. Simmonds is becoming one of my favorite players. The guy is amazing and I love everything about his game.
- stveshdy

Simmonds is everything Richards should have been as a Flyer, what a great trade by Homer.

Flyers and Penguins fans agree. More bodily harm to Pierre McGuire.

Get it done, Bettman

I'm not worried about you running out of gifs.

Just be worried that sooner or later one will give you a seizure.

Only 5 teams have 100 points. Flyers are one of them. Considering the amount of injuries, and rookies pretty remarkable.
- PLindbergh31

i was thinking about this earlier today. it's amazing, really. and to think they keep spotting the other team a 2 goal lead, even more so.

Just playing devils advocate here, at 6-3 (game decided), regardless of who the Penguins have on the ice, what is Briere doing out there? Small guy, who has had concussions this year. He's prone to taking big hits this year. Not sure what he was doing out there at that point

WTF are you talking about? So let me get this straight. I Tell Pens fans to quit whining because if Rinaldo had hit Crosby the same way they would have reacted the same way. You laugh, tell me I am wrong, and then when I ask why you respond with the above retarded statement?

Just making sure.

He was female doging on the bench. Anyone with eyes can see it. Simmonds was yelling back while Schenn was laughing. Poor Sid lost his binky and blanket.
- stveshdy

he also immediately looked to the ref after getting up. didn't say anything, which is something, but he was looking for the call.

It will be interesting Saturday, I'll imagine some NHL brass will be coming to see the game live.

To be honest, that doesn't even bother me anymore. Sure, I'd prefer a nice wire to wire win, like against Toronto, but the comebacks get me pumped

I had no problem with him being out there. Its just that Pitts had their 4th line on the ice and were looking to stir up trouble especially after the Crosby cross check and yapping back and forth.

Not a great playoff recipe, but this is a resilient team that never gives up. They never quit on a game. Sure they have had bad losses, every team has, but for the most part the effort has been there all year.

At this point, I just add it to the heap of head scratchers. Laviolette haas done a great job overall. I question some of his decisions, but more often than not, he's managed to get the wins, so I can really complain

Can we get Bettman to stand between the benches with Pierre? That would be even better.

Just put Gary there would be fine, I'm one of the few that doesn't mind Pierre all that much.

Laviolette: "They hadn't used those guys in 12 minutes. It was a completely gutless move by their coach."

Yeah, he was pissed about the guys on the ice for the Pens

Yeah. I agree with you. Can't have issue with the results. The networks are salivating over this first round series. What happened today, just adds to the allure.
