Wow, offseason moves before the Playoffs start.
I made myself suffer through NBC's Sports Final last night with John Clark and Howard Eskin.
Should have just went to bed...... |

Regardless, this is a team chalk full of grit and two-way players. But not too many pure goal scorers.
I'd rather unload some of that grit to keep JVR, then the other way around. - bradleyc4
Totally agree. JVR is really the top young goal scoring Winger this team has. Locked up long term to a solid deal, that while now could be overpayment. Down the road it could be a steal. I'd have to have a very good return to be willing to move him.

Absolutely. At the same time, I don't move that grit lightly. |

I missed a great game. Saw all the highlights. A lot of wild stuff.
Any chance, next game they can just spot the other team a 2 goal lead and just skip the first period? |

There's that and the fact that Clark said the Flyers are in the Pens head and is happy the Flyers will face them in the first round.
So now all we need is a Melrose endorsement and a random Pens fan to come in here and say we've got this in the bag and the team is cooked. |

Only if the Flyers forfeit their timeout and just have Lava scream at them before the second-now-first period. |

Doc Emerick is amazing. I can't believe all the hate some of you have for him. I would love to have him call every single game I watch. - KGBflyers10
