I don't know who Jags girlfriend is but she is 25 and they've been together 7 years, which is a little skeevy but if you're going to wait until you're 41 to have kids, you probably aren't going to end up with someone your own age. And 7 years isn't chopped liver in the longevity department. (Can't remember the interview but it's the one where he talked about not having kids until he was no longer playing because he wanted to be the kind of parent his parents were and that was impossible because of the demands of the game. He either talked about his girlfriend or the interviewer did.) |

His gf's name is Inna Puhajkov (sp?)- she is czech model (originaly from Russia). She became popular when she won miss internet award in 2004. They are together for 2-3 years I think. I don't know her, but seems to be nice and cute

When you are 41, filthy rich and incredibly famous you aren't going to end up with someone your own age. I don't think kids has anything to do with it. |

Yes, he does look a lot younger there. The web site has more pics. Hard to tell if it's the same girl in all the pics due to the different angles. |

Emrick worked for the Flyers for a long time.
Emrick wore several hats in the 1980s working for the Philadelphia Flyers while their voice from 1988 to 1993. He was a spot announcer for Flyers home broadcasts from 1983-86, then was an in-studio analyst between 1986-88 when not covering national games. Emrick was promoted to the lead play-by-play slot for both local TV and cable for the team in 1988, remaining with the Flyers until the end of the 1992-93 season. For four of those years, Emrick was paired with former NHLer and national hockey broadcaster Bill Clement.
Hard to believe he's too anti-Flyer. I just think he overdoes everything. Seems to treat every game like it's some sort of vocabulary contest. It's almost like he thinks his commentary is more important than the game.
I could do without all the "knifed ahead", "wedged off", and all the needless hyperbole ("A driiiiiiiive, and oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh it juuuuuuust missed.") Just call the damn game and shut up if there's nothing to say. - BringBack25
Doc Emerick is amazing. I can't believe all the hate some of you have for him. I would love to have him call every single game I watch. |

Emerick is good, it bothers me that the Flyers let him get away, and he landed with the Devils.
Jim Jackson is terrible imo, I can't deal with him. |

There are a lot of European athletes who are with women for many many years but don't marry them until they have kids, if even then. Different culture. Different attitudes. It often seems to me that most European men I've known were much less worried about other mens' opinions of the women they were with than American men seem to be. Makes no sense to marry someone because someone else would want her. The someone else may be a complete idiot. |

His voice is awful...if he had the voice of Harry Kalas and you gave him a beer to stop with the weird vocabulary, I'm sure he'd be great. |

the pitchforking, squibbing, filtering, rattling around, careening, and playing along to the back does get to be a bit much after awhile. |

The voice is awesome. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
Crosby deserved the cross-check. Way to go Schenn.

i used to loathe gary thorne, but after listening to him call college hockey and i think some wjc stuff, i changed my tune. clement is great too. always has been. i'd be fine with them as a duo. unfortunately, i don't think jj is going anywhere. coatsey either. i can't stand him. |
