Well at least the goaltending playoff carousel horsepoop is finally over. As long as Bryzgalov is able to play, it's his cage.

Toilet paper is useful. Bobrovsky's save % is among the worst in the sport.

yep. 3 turnovers end up in the net. give him a pass on the first two, especially the second that got deflected. the last one is a joke.

a goalie robbing them repeatedly at the other end of the ice. they've outplayed them and are losing. we've seen this against florida, and tampa, and now ottawa.

He's been the victim of some poor coverage, but he's also usually good for a wonky goal against a game.

As was Bryzgalov's at one point. Definitely been an up-and-down season in regards to goaltending.

Being a backup you don't really get a chance to work through your problems - which is unfortunately the case for Bobrovsky.

3 guys on this team you need to watch; Spezza, Karlsson, and Alfredsson.

Each had a point this period, Alfie with two.

Some great coaching right there.

The third goal was a turnover by Bobrovsky on a poor clearing attempt, and then a shot a 7 year old squirt would stop went through his 5-hole. That was a clinic on being non competitive.

tough to kill him when he's been rotting on the bench for most of the last 2 months, but it comes with the territory.

And for 3/4 of this year, Bryz was good for 2 or 3 of said goal.

I hear you. It's not fair to expect him to be sharp when he has started 3 games in the last 6 weeks or so.

that's what i was saying before. amazing how the 2 or 3 best players on the other team always seem to get points on them. now, you might expect that on 1 hand since they are talented, but on the other, you'd think they might find a way to shut them down once in awhile.

So now does everyone see what I mean when I said we shoulda thrown the kitchen sink at Craig Anderson when Colorado scooped him up?

Yeah, and Bryzgalov has the track record of being one of the better goalies in the game over the past four or five years, plus the ability to rebound from bad stretches and bad seasons.

Bobrovsky's played 80 NHL games.

If he did, the Wellwood line wouldn't be on the ice with the Alfie line.
