It's pretty much a lock the Flyers will play the Penguins in Round 1, that being said home ice isn't all that important, the Flyers have proven they can win in the Pens barn, and vice versa. As stated before the # 1 goal heading into the playoffs is try and be at healthy as possible to start the series.

Bryzgalov not dressed today, Bacashihua is the back-up...smart move. No need to dress Bryz unless he's starting

Jeff Carter, in walking boot, said ankle is "pretty sore." He will get evaluated by team doctors in L.A. on Sunday.

The playoffs must be around the corner. Carter in a walking boot. Death, Taxes, and Carter injured before the playoffs start.

He really is the perfect Flyer, he fits in perfectly on Team Pretzel.

Yea, Carter purposely hurts himself when the playoffs roll around.

I'd take him on my team in a heartbeat.

Still mystified that Kubina isn't getting any PP time. He's better than playing a forward on the point, and easily has the hardest shot that can get through traffic. I don't understand it.

There far more to playing the point on the PP then just having a hard shot. There is decision making, puck movement, etc. Voracek is there for one simple reason. He is very effective at carrying the puck, establishing the puck in the offensive zone. And moving the puck to the right spot. Which is a very important aspect of a successful PP.

I don't think he is coming back this year, if the Flyers advance to the second round and he's ready to play would be interesting to see who he would replace. I would guess Rinaldo. Wellwood has been a pleasant surprise and deserves to stay in the lineup.

Ottawa has allowed 88 shots on goal in their last two games, and won both.

Translation. Anderson = stiff

I'm thinking positive. And he's coming back. At what level he'll be able to play at we'll see.
