No one I talked to around here thought of Burns as a shut down D man. The comparison to Blake would be the fact that Blake fired the puck a lot. Blake was not that much of a shut down Dman here in San Jose, he was brought up as a responsible Dman that had one hell of a shot. That is how Burns is viewed for the most part here.
