It's one thing when Martin Straka is one of the 5 forwards on a PP playing the point when he could recover like Letang but this is just horsesh*t. - Gunner Staal
I respect Bylsma, but the PP is horsesh*t since sid came back. Malkin and Sid didn't work before the major injuries and it's still crap. I just don't understand his reluctance to split them up.... |

Because if you can get a PP going with arguably the two best players in the league, then look out! |

Coffee or hand squeezed orange juice. The pens deserve neither after this showing. ha
Im not as worried about the last two games as much as I am about our d looking completely confused for multiple games now. Before during the winning streak the d play was covered by the insane run our offense was on. |

It's a completely different team than the one we saw up to 2 weeks ago. Hopefully they right the ship before it's too late.
On the bright side, even if we lose out and get swept in the first round we still won't be the Leafs. So we have that going for us. |

Well, how many years are you willing to wait until you try something new? This isn't a new problem.

Well that is what I was referring to tho. The defense may have been a problem then but it was being masked by Fleury great play and the offense being on a tear scoring 5+ goals a game. |

i wont bore you lot with my opinions on the problems any more, as its mostly all the same stuff being said. this team better find its switch or it will be embarrassed in the playoffs. as scary as it is to admit, i feel all of this is still even more of a testament to the importance of letang. |

If you aren't going to play Martin on the PP and go with 5 forwards who consistently give up scoring chances then why pay him 5M? |

haha the list of reasons to not give martin 5 mil is a long one. letang is literally going to be able to ask for the world in his negotiations, and for good reason. i respect hcdb for a lot, but this is becoming very apparent that there is an obvious lack of structure in a lot of areas. tanger is the only one seemingly able to hold this all together |

fleury hasnt seemed the greatest, but in fairness he is being screwed over big time. however, his reputation has always been that of not being perfect, but making the tremendous save here and there to bail everyone out and shift momentum. he hasnt been doing that, and it certainly has been required of him these past few games. |

there are definite problems right now, but with 58 in i think they are vastly covered up these past 2 games |

Because your team lacks something called depth. Who's he gonna play with on the second unit? Pascal Dupuis?

Yes, it would seem that 58 might just be the Pens most important player. |

The Penguins don't lack depth. That's silly talk. Dupuis has 24 goals, so that's not a very good example. Back to the drawing board. |
