Good game, good defensively.

On the fourth goal, Elias just didn't skate back like he would've and I don't blame him. The first and third Malone goal was a Devil attempting to block a shot and the puck laid their perfectly for him. The second was a puck bounced on Marty and he couldn't control it leading to a 3-on-1 which banked off of Zidlicky's skates.

All in all, great game.

The Carter-Josefson-Bernier line was our best line. DeBoer pretty much double shifted them instead of putting Kovalchuk's and Elias' line out.

Zidlicky had that giveaway prior to the 3rd Malone goal... awesome that he got the equalizer. He's been a great addition to the team. At times the Devils best defenseman.

He's really good, both defensively and offensively, very, very good pick-up.

I'd make that trade again every day of the year.

The Zidlicky move was a no brainer. Glad it's paying dividends.

We won today because we were able to score a lot. We still gave up too many goals though.

I think the Lightning really need a shutdown guy in addition to their goalie troubles. There is a lot of young talent on that team. Somebody has to be expendable to improve at goalie. Cory Schneider seems like a good fit.
