Amateur Scouting: Draft
Professional Scouting: Follow the other teams and identify the pieces you are interested him

They WANTED Gomez... and I still can't believe it.

I believe it's a bigger story than this. Something doesn't add up.

Well I think is point is "try to find the gems in your own backyard before trying to find gems in an american college or somewhere in finland".

And I'm not saying "draft in your backyard at all costs". But at least, look at what the (frank) is going on around you.

I believe he can.

Also, I don't think Gauthier was a bad GM. Like I said, he inherited a terrible product.

They are having what probably is the worst season in franchise history... I'm not sure what more they needed in terms of evidence in order to fire him.

At some point after the ASG, Mr. Burke should have went out and got Mr. Wilson a goalie. That alone may cost him his job, as it likely cost Mr. Wilson his.

So let me get this straight: If Burke makes a bad signing/trade, it automatically makes Nonis/Loiselle idiots?

You don't affect me one way or the other. 2 teams duking it out for the basement and you believe its not the GMs fault.

well, he did try to acquire Lecavalier, Iginla, Richards and then, the day before july 1st, he panicked and sold the farm for Gomez

Of all the picks he clearly was the best one. But Perron is still a better player in my mind.

(frank)ing horrible GM. Firing guys just before a game, trading them in game, refusing to tell players where they've been traded. Signing a poopty soft Kaberle. Even remotely being involved in the Gomez deal. It all adds up to garbage. Glad he's gone.

This is clear.

Fact is, they overachieved with Jack Martin. If he was still the coach, the team probably wouldn't be dead last.
