Totally agreed, i like Timmins. He is, however, the scout who drafted McDonagh and Fischer on years where our talent pool on offense was incredibly small. If i remember well, our best forward prospects at the time were Higgins, Perezhogin and Kostitsyn.
Wich brings us back to my original comment : i'm scared that there are so many d-man in the top 10 this year. - PRICEless
He also drafted Pacioretty in the same draft as Mcdonagh... |

5M for a 3rd center? Just trade him for a young power forward and a good pick. - _nay_
Maybe, or you can try the Pittsburgh philosophy and have a strong center line.
Not that Desharnais is a Malkin or Plekanec a Staal |

He would look great on the Habs D right now instead of Kaberlol. |

hmmm.... I don't know but I'd say Plekanec is currently better than Staal. |

For now, the new managment team might get rid of him. - Rtt19
if it happens, it will be after the draft.
If they fire him, I do hope they have someone better in mind, and he better be (frank)ing good.
I think Timmins is better than what we had before, when the Habs drafted Alexander Burturlin, Éric Chouinard, Jason Ward, Matt Higgins, Terry Ryan, Brad Brown... |

I don't mind Timmins either but the new managment might have other people in mind. |

Well Plek versus Staal is a decent comparison except for the physicality part. |

Point could be made sure. Just saying I don't think we HAVE to get rid of Plekanec, whe won't get a number one center via a trade. We have to draft him. |

I'm convinced TVA's Le Match is not as much a TV show as it is a scientific experiment on human stupidity. |

They seriously should've hired him to cover the F1 events rather than hockey. |
