Do you not know or has it not started?

Looks like it will be a 2 hour season premier!

Bobby Mac believes it won't necessarily be a Franco who would be the GM.

As long as the coach is, I have no problem with that.

Jim Nill?

What they need to do is make GM and Coaching ability a priority. Not their ability to speak French. Oui.

Meanwhile, in the hunt for clues about QC's future...it seems #Habs have cancelled their pre-season game in QC next yr. No reason given yet.

Pretty tough to fire Selke or Pollack either.

I can't believe there's somebody making excuses for him.

Why now??? Why not 3 months ago with JM or 2 weeks from now after the season?

This organization is a train wreck...

It would be great but sounds unlikely. Why would he leave Detroit?

They could had done that the day after the trade deadline.
- Oilhab

Agree.. but I guess after the trade deadline he couldn't do anything and they were paying him anyways... this firing is simply to put this to rest and start trying to line up candidates to interview

Even with a healthy Markov it was a pretty ugly group to start the season.

Markov
Subban
Gorges
Spacek
Diaz
Emelin
Weber

- habby

Missing Gill...
Markov, Gorges, Gill, Subban, Spacek
You have a good veteran group for the young guys. So yes, it would have been much better with Markov there to eat minutes from Subban.

If Markov was healthy and back playing like he was in his late 20's and not coming off a couple of knee and ankle surgeries, then this is not a bad top 6.

However there is a pretty big question mark if Markov will ever get back to that level, so why sign him to a 3 year deal at that salary.

He was one of the leader for the NHLPA in the last lockout, so he's well aware of the CBA.

And he has been in the game for a while, quit it quite recently.

Vinny was VP of the NHLPA....and after a few appearances on RDS L'AntiChambre....he is now considered a good candidate for the AGM

As GM? Perfect example of a guy I hope it isn't. They need someone with more experience.

The new Habs GM will be the SIXTH since 1995; prior to that only 3 since 1946. Worse job security than being a Mob boss.
- iScoop

Now do the same exercise with the coaches. You'll be shocked.

From interviews here, Dudley loved the player evaluation part of the game, the handling of the media not so much. He would be a good assistant not sure if he would want the head position.

In one of the previews it looked like Dany had made her way to the slave cities, that didn't happen until book 3, didn't it?
I hope they are not rushing the story I want 9 seasons of this series
