Yeah I can't wait to get them man... And unlike those scalpers, I won't sell them for twice or more the price. I'll make sure I'll sell them to at least make up for what I paid... - QuebecPride
I would think that, if you sell all the Boston, Toronto, Pittburg games at double the price, and make small profit on the weekend games, you can probably pay 1 ticket off. Section 117 in the double letters, the ticket is about 120per, but I've seen them sell for $400. Money to be made when the team is competitive. |

Thing is, I would buy tickets to see those games, not when Columbus is in town |

as a now former STH i can tell you this:
When the caps sucked and couldn't sell out the building, sth were treated like gold. when they started selling tix and then got a season ticket waiting list, the level of our involvement dropped dramatically.
my first few years, i met ovenchicken, kolzig, backstrom, green, semin, the owner among others many times. my last two, not once meeting any of them.
for a team like montreal that has a waiting list lottery, sth aren't as important as you think because there is someone right there to take your spot. - desi08
We'll see.
Still, my initial point is they had to do something and quick. Part of it is because they are probably sending season ticket holders renewals as we speak... |

Yes, but when columbus is in town, you can sell the ticket no profit. i guarentee someone will snatch them. Actually can probably still make a small profit. |

I think Roy will do well, if he chooses to be part of an NHL team.
I just think expectations will be too high in MTL and that if things go sour, we can see another "I've just played my last game with the Canadiens" mentality creep in again.
To your point, maybe his determination and presence does help some aspect of the team beyond just being a coach or GM. But I am not sure of that is a reason to hire him over other potential candidates. - JDJ
As long as we don't get Boucher as HC. People were complaining about Martin's system being boring, imagine what it would be with Boucher's system.
Off to another topic, i don't see why Larry Carrière never get any appreciation of his job. The guy has been around for so long and have done pretty much everything about the game. Hope he stays AGM. But for the GM spot, i really have no clue. Really not sold on Damphousse and i don't know much about Julien Brisebois' accomplishments. |

«On va s’entendre sur un point, il va parler français. Je pense que c’est primordial dans notre marché. Il n’est pas obligé d’être francophone, mais il doit s’exprimer en français», a déclaré M. Savard en entrevue à RDS.

I agree, on the other side i believe that Roy could take some pressure off the players shoulders as well. His ego can be a concern but it's also the reason why he has been successful everywhere he went. And hockey-wise, he is among the best candidates... - Habsody
