Il a failli passer incognito avec sa casquette...le fait de dire monsieur à tous les 3 secondes au téléphone l'a trahi.

no but it means the demand for Habs tickets is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down, you couldn't get tickets a year ago without overpaying big time.

Why would anyone want to go and watch 5 meaningless boring games?

It's not like they have great sushi like the ACC

the worst part is most of the french journalists speak english. in fact, most of them also tweet in english. i don't understand what the problem is. the fans? (frank) you can't read subtitles or a translation 2 minutes after he's done talking?

A lot will have to do with what they do this summer.

Which is why I said they have to move, and move quickly.

- Pecafan Fan

I do not disagree.

Having an early shot at the available guys, before other teams can their GMs/AGMs/Coaches and start looking is a good thing.

The timing has more to do with the opportunity to get a head start, than anything related to or concern with season ticket holders.

RDS keeps talking about how many seat were empty the last 2 games....some corporate boxes had nobody in them. Montreal is NOT Toronto, going to see a losing hockey team is not trendy in Montreal...unlike Toronto
- Symba.007

Which is a really good thing.

I really liked Molson's interview.

No more excuses about the fact that there are 30 teams in the league and there is a lot of competition to make the playoffs. The goal is to win, every god damn year.

That's how teams like the Philly, Detroit and the Bees work, and that's why they are successful.

If I was Molson, I wouldn't be worried about the sell of seats at the Bell Center. Has anyone been to La Cage, St-Hub, or Boston Pizza of late? Those places are deserted. Surely it has to have effect on the sell of Molson products. I went there a few weeks back on a Thursday night. There had to be 30 people there for the game.
The funny thing is, due to the Canadiens being so bad, the manager said they laid off 6 waitress due to the place being empty on most nights.

Martin is on the payroll, but he will not be GM. And JFJ, if made a laughing stock by the Toronto media as MSLE Board really ran the team and threw him under the bus, is not as bad as most believe - but would never survive in the pressure of MTL after TOR.

This type of "analysis" is exactly why I never watch Sportsnet - what a poopty operation they have. Even worse than the Score.

As much as some make it a big deal that he needs to speak french and that "it shortens the list", I don't think it's that much of a problem either.

As if it was impossible to have a french speaking GM and coach that can build a hockey team... come on...

- Pecafan Fan

The list is quite big if you look at it too...

Especially for the coaches...

Don't you remember the constant complaining of PG about the competitiveness of the league and how hard it was to even make the playoffs?

Seems like it's history now and that it won't be the case anymore.

And that's the right attitude.
