Yeah seems pretty bad IMO.

Btw Revenge of the Titans was way better than the Clash, but was still pretty average. Typical american movie, with uber nice special effects, but many historical errors. Went with my friend who's studying in history, he kept whining about it

Back hand open handed female dog slap quells this information session during movies at the theatres.

1. I hate Sam Worthington.
2. I haven't seen it, will probably see it when it's on TV.
3. "Historical"
4. I'll refer you to Wolverine & Hercules mini-series (4 comics), which talks about the original Clash of the Titans movie
5. Of course Hollywood doesn't give a poop about accuracy.

PS I guess that The Immortals was awful as well.

- jugkope

I just don't understand how that works. I mean, some film production company learns that the competition is making a movie about a certain subject, so they have to get one out too?

Me too, but he was great in the Texas Killing Fields. All those Titan movies are horrible and inaccurate to history. The average American doesn't have a (frank)ing clue about their own history yet alone Greek mythology.

Depends in what mindset you go to see these movies really. If it's for an history one, forget it. If it's for violence and gore scenes, go for it.

Btw, I pretty much defined The Immortals.

Yup. I don't expect accuracy to the extent I could provide, but could we at least name Cetus Cetus and not "The Kraken"? Not add a "strong female character who falls in love with the protagonist"?

What (frank)ing idiot would go watch a movie about mythical beings hoping it's historically accurate?

The only difference between these two movies is one is about vampires, the other is about cowboys, both equally uber gay.

The Titans series and Avatar were horrible films, to me. Acting played a part of it (and Mads Mikkelsen wasn't too bad in Clash).

If they would have changed the name of the Kraken, the movie nerds like yourself would have complained they changed it from the original Clash of the Titans.

Yea, was a good cop flick without all the special effects nonsense. Was it me that told you about it?

And they didn't come out in the same year...but the gay factor I thought was well played.

Well, I blame the original Clash of the Titans and sigh with disapointment as the remake didn't fix the error.

You know that mythology is pretty much written stories.

A lot of movies are adaption from books.

It is not better or worse than go see this than any other adaption and expect the story to be close from what it was in the book.

I liked this movie, because i was uber stoned, and liked that little blue female dog in the skin tight suit. Otherwise, it was Pocahontas and Dances with Wolves, and The Last Samurai set on an alien planet. Same story, characters and ending.
