Seriously doubt the Montreal Candiens franchise would be dumb enough to go that route. Let him coach, sure...that I get. But to hand the GM keys to him simply because he's been a decent coach in the minors and was a great goalie...just doesn't sound right.

If he gets GM, hopefully he proves me wrong.

Sorry to hear that Guathier has been fired. He was a good guy, and an even better hockey mind. Habs just didn't give him the tools.
