I think that as long as Timmins has full responsibility on draft day we'll be just fine... Sure AK was kind of a bust, but he's still a pretty good NHL player... Can't blame him for Fischer as it wasn't his pick, I just wish the new GM keeps him right there.

You are correct. Before the NFL season started he said Manning was done for the year and will never play for the Colts again. Pretty bold prediction.

Wow...that's a garbage business decision when you're trying to move your team forward.

"Here Mr.Never Coached in the NHL or GM'd anywhere (correct me if I'm wrong there), have whatever job you want"

Seriously doubt the Montreal Candiens franchise would be dumb enough to go that route. Let him coach, sure...that I get. But to hand the GM keys to him simply because he's been a decent coach in the minors and was a great goalie...just doesn't sound right.

If he gets GM, hopefully he proves me wrong.

Read a drafting report that compared drafting numbers of every team like a baseball batting average and slugging percentage. Hits were NHL players, slugging were guys who were performing well on NHL level.

Habs were the best in batting average and top three in the other. They draft NHL players better than any other team. They might not hit on superstars but a lot of their picks are playing in the NHL, maybe not the Habs.
