No, but this guy did...

burke has done a lot of things, but quietly built one of the best, youngest, deepest, cores in the nhl today.

there's no need to fire the man, he just as to be realligned. stop with the quick fixes, and stop speaking to the media. commit to a core plan and keep doing what you've been doing without realizing you've been doing it.

firing him would be taking steps backwards. is the team (frank)ed? yes. is it (frank)ed up enough that bringing in another GM and waiting 3 years for him to get his fingerprints on the franchise is suitable? no.

that's a poor assessment on your part.

not many franchises in the nhl have as much young talent, and depth, as the leafs, not named the edmonton oilers.

being a leaf hater doesn't discredit what the team has.

That was a poor assessment on your part, PS.

OTTAWA - Justin “Shiny Pony” Trudeau had more than enough Grit on Saturday night to trot out a winner. So much Grit, the fight had to be stopped in the third round after Conservative Senator Patrick Brazeau ran out of gas.

The underdog Trudeau used his height and reach advantage to defend a series of wild haymakers by “Senator Soldier” Brazeau, 37, to win a charity boxing match that had a sold-out black-tie crowd on the edge of their seats and panting for more.

Brazeau was clearly not in the shape needed for the fight after spending a week saying he was going to knock Trudeau out.
