It is disgusting. Its not like they are the West and are supporting the majority of Canada financially, and are sick of doing it. They are a have not province and need Canada to survive.

I think it's disgusting that people want to separate from their country. It's not like Quebec's people are suffering under the "rule" of Canada. Can you tell me why they want to leave? What will they gain? Are they that upset over the language issue?
- weirdoh

The people that I have worked with are the very same as me. They want some form of security and opportunity for their kids. They're tired of the language debate and just want to enjoy what they earn.

Honestly, I'm in no position to understand. Gaelic background, as big an enemy to the monarchy, with ancestors that only landed there in the late 1700s.

All things army, polluting energy, guns, social programs for poors, education, health system, culture.

Québec is much more 'De Gauche' than the ROC.

Conservatives are representing Canada, only a handfull of their MP'S are from here...

Also, an NDP Government would bankrupt the Country of Quebec in no time at all.

It's an example to show you how distinct we are from the ROC.

Québec voted NDP, Canada, Conservatives.

Ken, these are great questions that I can't seem to get an answer to.

I can remember when they held that referendum and was amazed that people were so upset over this country that they wanted to leave. I didn't want them to leave, they are as much a piece of Canada and it's history as the newest of provinces.

I know, they still gathered the most votes though.

Also take out Québec and it gives you 61 out of roughly 80, which is more than 75% in the ROC.
