PQ....

It's not their postal service. It's ours!!!
It's not there army. It's ours!!! Not all of it, sure, but 25% of it is ours. Same for the buildings, same for the debt, same for everything.

They keep 75% of the army, we keep 25%
They keep 75% of the postal service, we keep 25%
They keep 75% of the canadian debt, we keep 25%........

Now you will notice that probably +/- 25% of this army/postal service/prison...etc are in Quebec!!! Quel hasard!!!

So our new army would probaby be named Les forces armées québécoises, and it would Poste Quebec instead of Poste Canada, but it's not that complicated...

Et le but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your already high taxes will increase to support all of the above, leading to more people migrating out of Quebec. Could the province survive on its own? Maybe.
Would it thrive and grow? unlikely

We would have to cut in our services to lower our expenses, no doubt. Probably 10% less. If it was me, it would be 20% less.
But the province would survive as you say very well thank you.

One day....

P.S. Our taxes already pay for all of the above, why would they increase?

And Myers is on the bench... face wasn't cut. Tough kid

He ain't got time to bleed. Though I did like the enthusiasm with "he's down and hurt!!"

For one, you would need to make up the $7.391 billion you get in equalization payments

Exactly. That's 10% of our budget.
Could you survive with a 10% pay cut?
I think you could...

And all the Canadian agencies in Quebec that employ many people would no longer be there. May want to take that into account aswell

Better off without them. And when there are fires everyone will run to the rivers and stay there until it is over.

Why??? We would not need imigration agencies? Many would keep there job.
But some wouldn't. We would stop paying twice for some agencies doing the same thing, like income taxe revenues agency...
