What Burke said: We think we have two great goalies this year and both could be number one starters for us. We think we have a good group to get into the postseason
What Burke meant: We clearly dont have two good goalies and our group is young and inexperienced and were going to run with them to give them some experience. If anyone thinks this team is good enough to compete fully into the playoffs they are certainly crazy. We hope to do "well enough" to get some high picks this year.
What Carlyle said: We are upset with the level of determination this group has provided to its fans, and we feel the fans deserve something to cheer for again.
What Carlyle meant: We are in fact upset with our performance and will do our best, however we are out of the playoffs and have the same group we failed with all year, so we will try out best and work the guys as hard as we can...and to make sure they dont get random wins we will start our AHL goalies. This team needs to draft high, we all know it. - noename09
So not much love for the idea of drafting Filip Forsberg around here? Heard Bobby Mac say he was a better 'centre' then Galchenyuk last night. Thought he was a winger

no no.. not trashing them.. just like the idea of an angry frenchman at the helm of the habs... then him and burke could have shouting matches.. it would be wonderful entertainment.. and they need it.. because the on ice product for both teams sucks

He's taken a total of 15 draws this year! BEST CENTER EVER! I mean he was really good in a tournament last season, disregard this season!

Ill be honest....alls I know about the draft choices is hearsay, havnt been following up on them much
