My odds:
Parise/Suter - 0% because we don't have the cap space. They're not going to sign 1 year deals, so it's this July or never.
Getzlaf/Perry - 75% if my 'masturbate for nate' plan as per above is implemented.

We havent started yet. Burke kept Mac, grabo, kuli at the trade deadline

Lupul comes over frmo Anaheim, where he wasnt given a chance and didnt "particularly" like the coach.

Comes to Toronto and plays great, almost injury free.

I flip it around ...Getzlaf and Perry aren't close yet and we've seen how rare it is for stars to get to UFA. Parise and Suter are on the verge of being rare so I think the chance of them getting here is better. The new owners will eat at least one of those bad contracts (Lombardi, Armstrong, Connolly) if it means signing a star and giving new hope for playoff revenue. All that said I doubt Parise or Suter actually have Toronto near the top of their lists.

6 months ago Statsny had a bad contract. That 6.6 doesn't look so bad anymore.

I saw play all the prospects all the time next year: Scrivens and Reims the goalie tandem, Colborne the first line C, Kadri and Frattin top 6 wingers, Blacker and Holzer on D, Abbott and whoever we draft this year on the roster.

We clear up tons of cap space going into Getz & Perry's UFA years, and we masturbate for Nate!

Now going into 2013/2014 we have a core of elite players, we fill in the blanks with trades and prudent signings, and become perennial contenders again.
