C'mon Bo, he's not a glass vase. He took some stitches to the mouth, far cry from anything concussion related.
- canadianpenfan

Fine. If he wakes up lethargic tomorrow...He may not be a glass vase, but if I were his mom he'd have been locked in his room until next training camp.

here's how i want the lines for the playoffs

jvr giroux hartnell
simmonds briere jagr
voracek schenn talbot
wellwood coots read

i think this provides maximum jump. perhaps change the lines when protecting a lead.

of course that assumes jvr comes back to form. if jvr isn't ready i could go with:

hartnell giroux simmonds
voracek briere jagr
talbot schenn read
wellwood coots rinaldo

i think separating giroux and jagr could provide more scoring depth. obviously with the game on the line put those two back together.

Have you seen the way that the Simmonds/Briere/Schenn line has been playing lately? Neither of your scenarios keep that line together. Not really good choices. Briere is finding chemistry and getting hot on that line.

just floored when i realized what they were chanting. incredible.

leafs fans used to sport paper bags in the 80s. glad to know the tradition is still alive.

So since the Pens have no chance at first, am I looney for hoping they finish 5th? I mean, how are the Flyers so much better on the road?

No. I'd be in Cold Harbor. But I'd have a nice new washing machine. And someone else to wash clothes in it.

Yea, don't mess with Briere. He's finally clicking with his line mates. These would be my lines come playoff time:

Hartnell/Giroux/Jagr
Schenn/Briere/Simmonds
JVR/Talbot/Voracek
Rinaldo/Couturier/Read

I'm feeling like that Briere line is going to be a very good line in the playoffs. No way in hell I change that up now.

I forgot about that. His 11 points in the last 10 games is just a last hurrah before vanishing into obscurity!
