I wouldnt!

If its a 2.5 difference it depends.. but chances are id take Zach... but My biggest question is this... why would it have to be one or the other... Why come FA time.. would Snow have to choose Zach or PA?

XxNYIxX

P.S. Im not completely sold on ZP anyway... I have seen TOO MANY "star" players come up through the Devils system that are awesome, but once they are out of said system & on other teams they become "good" players. Im not saying it will happen to Zach, but no one thought it would happen to Gomez, or Holik.

- XxNYIxX

I never thought Gomez was a good player to begin with. I thought he was OK but he was being sold as some kind of offensive threat which I just did'nt see.
As far as Holik I thought he was great even though I hted the guy. I was shocked when his game went south. I really thought it would've meshed well with another team? I like ZP alot but at ten million I don't. He just isn't worth that kind of money.

OK. I still didn't say I hated him. I would like to never see him in an Islanders uniform ever again and I wasn't a fan when he was "good" but I don't hate him. I certainly don't like him

Bailey looked great and so did KO. Getting tired of this. Play well when there is nothing to play for. SOS every year

oh please, i dont want to hear anyone coming out and Bailey loving now.

If anything you should be apologizing and admitting you were wrong. Please check out baileys stats since rolston trade and since he was moved up to scoring line.

Has nothing to do with being a LW. Its all about who you playing with. Bailey is a creative player and great passer. He had no business being on a checking line with a bum like rolston.

Too bad, too little to late this season. Bailey is only 22 years old guys. dont forget that.

Wow, what a concept. Playing on a line with decent players? Wonder if that had anything to do with Nino's great season?

Fair enough & Ill agree, he has been given every chance to turn it around.. its time to pull the plug.. he should never be considered for the starting or even back up roll. Its just not going to ever happen.

he has played his best games as an Islander on the wing.. been saying it for years. Which is a good thing.. because when Strome comes & claims that second line center spot... Bailey can slide in beside him.

all aboard, the bailey band wagon has pulled up. Jump on board guys.

Sorry boys but i took alot abuse when i was telling you Bailey was only 22, and has tons of upside. Everyone wanted him traded.

Now that he on a line with better players, everyone suddenly knew that would be what he needed.

Nino will be just fine too. Dont worry. Just dont give up on him too soon either. He is only 19.

Trade Okposo and Bailey…their stock has never been so high…
- kear20

Believe it or not but I for one wouldn't mind moving either 1 for the right player, but if I had to choose I'd rather move KO, I know I know, might get slammed for that but if he doesn't play more like the player he should be (Cally, Dubi or Brown type) I'd rather move him, its hard for me to say but I don't really wanna give up on Josh yet. I could be very wrong but it's jmo.

LoL, it wouldn't... even more since we're talking a RW and LW. it was just my response to LetsGoIsles post. Also since Zach's never coming here this summer

Yeah but Zach has far more talent than Holik & Gomez

I've talked him a couple times as well and he told me the same thing. What is he going to tell a fan? "I (frank)ing hate Long Island and this damn team?" He is going to go for the money, he'd be an idiot not too. He will get ridiculous offers and you can bet on him taking it and it won't be because of his agent that you don't trust. It will be because he's smart enough to know he isn't going to get another pay day like this.
- Cptmjl

But the thing is and I'm not trying to take anything away from you or make myself sound better but I know and am friends with many people that work for the team. I'm basing my judgement off of more than just stuff he'd say to a fan, he truly is happy here and with the guys here, but as you stated which is very true it's a business and a career. My only point of bringing up his agent is he will do his job at trying to get him the best deal possible and advising him to take it.

I've never given up on the guy and have been a supporter of his, but I'm not gonna call him a success until he starts a season that way and keeps it going all the way through it. Which is what many are still waiting to see from him, even his haters.

Do not forget the Snow is great supporters. Now Snow has an excuse when he does nothing this offseason. "Bailey and KO showed much fire toward the end of the season. I have faith in these guys and believe we will be a playoff team. The playoff push starts in October."
- mighty13duck

i don't think anyone ANYONE defends snow on here...my point is and i'll say it until i'm blue in the face...i fully believe snow has been not been given the "blank check" that he claims wang gives him. I fully beleive that wang has this entire organization on a show string budget until the arena mess is decided...and that means no money will be spent on this team

Great. Another win against a quality opponent. Another game where Bailey, KO and even Nino and f-ing Reasoner hit the scoresheet. Too bad none of these guys showed up when it mattered earlier in the season. All this scoring shows up after the season was flushed away.

Oh lord, now we're going to get all the Bailey supporters coming out with guns a blazing over how amazing he is.
- BringBackBalky

Bailey, like many of his teammates, only shows up when it doesn't Matter. Only when there's no pressure does Bailey produce, just like many of his other teammates. Its beyond frustrating.

That's absolutely what will happen. And the team will stumble out of the gate again next year, will have no secondary scoring again next year, will have a morbid "D" again next year and the cycle will repeat itself again next year.

But it's ALL because he played with crappy line mates!!! I agree to a certain extent that line mates do account for part of the reason. However, there's this word effort that should also be mentioned. Bailey didn't show this much effort most of the year until it meant nothing. And he's not alone. When Bailey has some sort of consistency between the months of October and February, then I'll buy into it. Until then, this means nothing going forward.

Yeah, the "crappy linemate" excuse. None of the Bailey supporters tell us how that explains his previous no-shows in previous seasons? I agree with you. I won't be sold on bailey or KO or the rest of the underachievers on the roster until they perform consistently and well for the better part of a full season, in particular when the games matter.

IN Baileys defense, this is the first time he's played with real players. Perhaps they're on to something with Bailey..........insert sarcasm here

I'm thinking Okposo and #1 or a #2 for Dustin Brown and one of their defesemen.
